We all know ATeam like to say one thing then a week into the event release a statement saying it was a mistake, here’s a gift of My Energy Potion to keep you happy. So here’s the new statement that must be incorrect:

For the new Den or Woe event:

“Collect A Set Of 6 Devil Mirrors And Get One Rank AA Monster!”

Now correct me if I’m wrong but no way will it be that easy! They have definitely missed out “A Chance For”

Will likely need to do 100 floors, so not that hard I guess.

Potentially. But the last several tower style events have given up exactly 6 shards/whatever at exactly floor 100, so no reason to doubt it this time.

Well, this will be my first 'tower style event'. I started playing in the middle of drops of darkness

Yea but if what they say is true, and likely to happen after completing 100 floors. I don't care what rank I get, I'll easy make 100 floors, even 200 for AA+. But like I said, it all seems too easy. About half way through the event once everyone has wasted EP to reach floor 100 within minutes they'll probs release a statement like they have in the past "Oh we forgot to say there's a CHANCE for AA, but here's x1 My 100 EP, that will justify our mistake"

I've never cared for the rankings. A ridiculous amount of time and most likely My teacher said good "job" has gone into getting into the top ranks, especially top 20-50. And so far I don’t think I’ve ever ranked under 2000ish. So yea, I don’t care because I’ll never compete to that level. I just play for whatever fun is left in the game

Can you explain that "my teach said good job" thing?? I keep seeing it, and don't understand what the deal is.

it's a chat filter for the word m0ney, why they don't just say 'm0ney' instead of invoking the chat filter is a mystery to me; that whole "My teacher said good "job" "chat filter confused the hell out of me at first too!

Yeah, i kept seeing that everywhere and not knowing what it meant until I was talking to someone in a thread about the effect of the mobius event on in-game economy, and I was trying to make an analogy to real world economics, said something about currency and BAM! so that's what that was all along lol!

I was so confused then as I didn't remember even typing it ha and I too have wanted to know the answer for a long time and now I do. Thanks

Maybe A team made it so every 10,000 floors you get 6 shards... who knows?

I may be wrong, but... Every 100 floors we get 1 mirror (we collect 6 fragments to make 1 whole)... If I am right that means AA's are awarded every 600 floors, which is more on par with what A-Team would do.

That makes things a bit more interesting, as most players don't come close to 600 floors.

I like the whole My teacher said good "job" substitute. It's certainly not a solution but the randomness of the choice of substitute cracks me up.

Guvire's comment sounds likely. Might make ppl more willing to spend My teacher said good "job" on ep if there is a guarantee of an AA as opposed to the slimmest of chances with a summon or competing for a top 200 position.

If I had to guess it'll be the cocoons that give mirrors since you have to buy traps. But I'm probably wrong I'm pretty dam drunk

more on topic, all we can do is wait and see. a team has shown in the past that they're pretty clueless about what makes for a good event, lol, so all we can do is wait for the 13th(even though they don't explicitly say it starts then, when else can it start, if the mid event is the 20th and the final is 27th?)

Hehe conventional logic doesnt necessarily apply to A team. The event could start next February and jump backwards in time for all i know

Seriously, the most ridiculous part of the whole thing is the fact that they would actually institute such a wordfilter, and leave 'paypal'. What exactly do they think the medium of transfer is going to be for rwt on an online forum? Well I guess that's understandable... Mobius is probably more related to the "Mobius Strip"

I guess you couldn't really expect them to make exclusively original monster designs; that would mean no dragons, no people with wings, no demons, no giant insects. Even obscure thing like Tidal Tephon could be associated with Dagon or something lol

I mean they do seem to have SOME pretty unique monsters, Child of Pit is certainly unique to the best of my knowledge (unless it is a reference to something obscure beyond my frame of reference, which is entirely possible, but I think it's wacky enough that most people wouldn't be able to directly attribute it to something!)

But I kind of agree with you on Cthulu, also the balrog. That's not exactly 'direct' intellectual property theft due to how copyright expiry works. But it seems lazy. The concepts are good, but they should have ran with the concepts, not directly replicated them lol.
