Tonight i found 4 shadows, 2 ultimate and 2 greater and i fail in all.

ATEAM wants us to pay for fucking items in event. This is the first time they do it, possibily in next event make shits like that for take moar cash.

I've played over 1200 levels, and so far I've caught exactly one "powerful" shadow with a normal trap... and it was a great horned warrior... thanks A Team!

This is misleading a bit. Ultimates have a *chance* of being the new monsters. I still got a crappy B out of an ultimate. I also got a ring dragon.

Agreed, it's such BS. I got the Elven Heroine B+ though, so I was a little happy. I was looking for it for my B team in case the B battle event returns. Not worth it though. I hope A-Team doesn't use this event as a model for next as I hate feeling pressured to spend money on EP and other stuff too

Ultimate shadows are better than dark summons, and cheaper, but only if you buy soul points. Your frame of reference is way off if you think they are a rip off. So far I've gotten a few B's with skills, including rare skills, a blazing dragonoid and the new 25bp demon out of about 8-10 ultimate shadows. I've also gotten plenty of A's from weak shadows, but they are like A's that you get from ally point summons. Never captured a powerful shadow.

Dark summons are already a rip-off, and trap "summons" are just less of a rip-off. We're merely discussing degrees of wallet raping at this point. My poor little heart broke after 4400 soul points and most of them were Bs and garbage As and not a single progression monster or even really good A monster (2 different events 4400 each). Not complaining by any means, just stating that any degree of soul point spendage is a rip-off right now given the current odds tables for summoning monsters, and A-Team is probably going to make some poor kids go postal

Yes, you can make the choice to pay or you can make the choice to play the game for free. But that doesn't exclude the possibility that you can still make a purchase that isn't equal perceived value to the dollar amount spent. Yes, I chose to spend the $40 on soul points, but I didn't choose the random monster generator odds when summoning monsters. As well, there is not really a reliable way to inform yourself of your chances to obtain rare or high-valued cards when summoning until after you've spent those soul points and evaluated it for yourself. There are no easy statistics available for comparison so it is trial and error. In this way, one can feel "ripped off" after purchasing and spending soul points, as after the fact you might regret the amount of money spent as it doesn't translate into the same perceived worth in-game via monsters received.

TLDR: The ability to choose to pay does not exclude the possibility of feeling ripped-off

It is a disagree and agree statement.

You get crap A's or B's from "purchase" Soulpoints for Dark Summon - you complain and feel shit and rip off with waste of money it.

You get AA from "purchase" Soulponts for Dark Summon - you praised and feel worth it.

The thing is, Ateam did not put any statement of GURANTEE a good monster, it is chance or probability. That is where the confusion of who is right or wrong, getting rip-off or getting what they want from "free" dark summons.

They were really overpriced in the beginning but have dropped steadily. I have now bought a few around 50-65 EP which is way better then what they were.

Expect the prices to drop even more..They need to sell those things while they have value because after the event those things are going to go for about 5-10 EP with the BP that they have.....

The Leshy A would be a better monster then that one and that came out at game launch....

For the last tower event (Virud, Virup, Dhr), the 100th place Rancor was floor 900. The prog monsters are harder to get this time than they were last time, so I'm thinking it'll be lower than that, not higher.

I don't think so. I have several allies that are over 2k already and its barely half way through the event. That's alot further than the cave event unless they are opting for the getting everything done early and sell their progression but I really don't think so. I think the sharing of progession with clans makes up for the lower availability of progression and progression might be easier to get now that we are in the second week. Ateam typically up the summon rate of progressions around this point in the event.

I don't think so. I have several allies that are over 2k already and its barely half way through the event. That's alot further than the cave event unless they are opting for the getting everything done early and sell their progression but I really don't think so. The reason that numbers are so much highers then the clan event is because the clan event numbers is a shared total needed to get a AA (provided the slackers have at least OVER 1% of the total crystals collected. This made the numbers easier to have lower. In this new event...if ppl are not sharing prog monsters or EP they are basically on their own. Every device will need to hit the required 1-100 rank in order to qualify for the AA.

My clan felt that pinch and I have been doing my best to circulate the A+ Progs around but.

1. They are all Tyranny Prog monsters.

2. Not everyone has the EP to go the distance.

3. Lot of clan mates need that Prog A+ and they all have different times they need it.

Summary of that is its a little rougher even though the Progs can be shared in clan. Clan collection event was way easier.

In reply to your last sentence, I also miss those Epic summons we were getting so frequently in the past event. In this event I got one Eipc summon, 2 Dark summons and around 17 A summons so far. Might have to mess with that more tonight though and see what lady luck gives me.

If it's any indication, I haven't sunk any money into it, just used potions and elixirs that I got for free from events and such, no progression monster and I got the 150 or thereabouts before the last ranking, which landed me around rank 585 for Rancor.

I was comparing to cave event. I should have been clearer on that point. Compare to cave events, it seem that people are already further along than in this one so I was predicting the end results will end up with a higher totals than in cave event which I suppose isn't that surprising since every event has a higher total than the previous event of the same type.

Kyan are you using a -10% monster to beat the summoner of death? Do you know if it possible using only a -2.5% and agility up? And about what floor do you start noticing this guy appearing?

He starts appearing over floor 200. You dont need the -10 stat reduction to beat them just a fully maxed good team. I have the Covert winged team with quetz and can beat him an its not even fully leveled still need 9 levels for quetz an sky dragon lol

I didn't use any reduce boss stat at all. With agi over 10. You'll go before the AA and that is enough with a decent team. The AA is level 1 I suspect so not that tough at all just fast which can be counter with agi over 10. Another strat I heard but haven't try is to have def and -atk over 10 and that's enough to survive them and beat them that way.
