Hm I have done about 8 battles with 6 succeding at getting crystals (186 bp battles)... Then the next 8 failed to get crystals (same bp formation). I think you cannot spam bps to get crystals but rather you have an hourly amount of crystals you can get and after that you should wait... Based on my tests, so far.

Some more Relica (50 crystals):
Armlet of the Executionner Atk+210 Def+180
Necklace of Luck +1% Dodge
Earring of Rigidity Enemy Def -4%
Sluggish Gauntlet 2% chance to decrease enemy winged Monsters's critical rate
Gauntlet of Power Atk+110
Armlet of Power Atk+180

Sluggish Gauntlet is terribly bad.

I think I like this addition. It is the type of thing that you will work at for a very long time (forever?), as there is always the chance to get something better.

At least now we have a very good reason to attack very often. But I am excited/worried about the agi accessories, currently attackers always attack first in AA+ battles, but if anyone has an accessory with agi+something, then its gonna be incredibly valuable, because he will attack first even in defense !! (When being attacked) and there will be no way to tell if he actually has this kind of accessory when attacking.

Assuming it is possible to get stats related to all of the little boxes on the "Total Relica Bonus Effects", I'd assume the priority on stats would look something like:

1. Inc Your/Dec Enemy AGL percentage
2. Inc Your/Dec Enemy AGL flat
3. Inc Your HP %
4. everything else...

Maybe stacking a large amount of Dec Enemy ACC and Inc Your DGE would work out alright, especially with a dodge monster on your team. Though that would be more chance based.

I would put Inc Atk % as 3. Because once you get an agility accessory, you want to attack with the highest possible attack to have the better chance at one/two shots.

was messing around with the crystals for a while, and they seemed to come few and far between, so I decided to run a little trial and record results

with a 143bp form: Raminas/Banished/MoonC(DEA)/Kanna/Venus
30 wins
2 Payouts: 15 crystals
2 Payouts: 16 crystals
1 Payout: 17 crystals

with a 161bp form: Raminas/Banished/MoonC(DEA)/Gorger(PAP)/Kanna
30 wins
1 Payout: 17 crystals
2 Payouts: 18 crystals
1 Payout: 19 crystals


This basically comes out to a 15% drop ratio. Although I would absolutely encourage everyone else to try record their results and try come to some sort of conclusion how this really works; as 60 is by no means a sufficiently large sample size to draw conclusions based upon.

Side Note: in conducting this experiment, I came to a particular realization; due to the relatively low drop rate, and nominal difference in crystal gains related to bp gains (143 form min 15, max 17 vs 161 min 17 max 19); it is highly advisable to use a formation which is proportionally related to your bp reserve. The first set of 30 trial only took me 15my bp because I have a 300bp reserve, so each one gave me 2 attacks. the second set of 30 required pattern usage of my100bp, my100bp, mybp; for every 3 battles (300-> 139 +100, 239->78 + 100, 178 -> 17 +bp) for gains of...

cost: 15mybp: 79 crystals
cost: 10mybp, 20my100bp: 72 crystals

That being said; I wouldn't recommend using an A formation or something because that will make you need to spend time choosing your battles selectively and refreshing random battle page or suffer losses which will eat even more into your bp costs for crystals.

I would recommend using your highest bp multi-tap AA form (e.g. if you have 260bp, use a 130bp form) so you can just randomly click on anybody in random battle screen and probably win (60/60 of my random taps were wins, zero bp waste).

If you're short on resources and have a ton of time; the best bet probably IS to use a competent <100bp A form and hunt for people who quit before bait forms were implemented; since the best way to get crystals due to the low rate 15% is apparently maximizing the amount of battles you can do for small payouts rather than doing fewer battles in hopes of large payouts.


also I didn't exactly read through the entire thread but there are some interesting relics which I happened to get a couple of which give a "x% chance to nullify enemy SKILL"

for example 5% chance to nullify enemy Decrease Enemy Defense; from a 50crystal crafting

and 3% from a lower crafting

not sure if 5% is the max possible, but if they do have some upscale ultra rare versions with 20% to nullify enemy health up, that could be pretty neat

The number of crystals you get is proportional to the bp amount of your team. I attacked with my 186bp form and get between 18 to 21 crystals, but with my 240bp form I get from 24 to 26 crystals. But so far I have not found any variation in the drop rate: about 15-20% so far (which seems to fit well with what you obtained: 4 to 5 drops on 30 wins).

I therefore think that the drop rate is fixed no matter your form: 15%. But what changes is the amount of crystals obtained, which is, based on observation:

(Bp of the form)/10 rounded down (so a 186bp form is 18)

And to that number is added a random number from 0 to 3 = number of crystals you can obtain.

186bp = 18 to 21 crystals.

Also larry if you have time please add your Relica to the thread so we can have a good database of what we can obtain.

I hear ya, what I was saying is that in the interest of ease of use; a formation bp which maps closely to your bp reserve is superior to using your "best" formation.

also for the same amount of bp; you get more attacks with a lower bp formation. and being that the drop rate is relatively low. I think it may be preferable to go for many chances at small payouts rather than fewer larger payouts (e.g. chances of getting something good with say... 80 dark summons, vs 20 revived summons [extreme analogy, but you get the idea]). the bp reserve concept adds a unique spin to this as well, because although 161 is only 12% more than 143, but requires 100% more item usage/page swaps (15mybp vs 10mybp+20my100)

i.e. I personally have 300bp reserve. using my 143 team is preferable to using my 161 team for crystal purposes because I can double attack from full charge and use another bp to do another pair of attacks with relatively minimal bp waste (waste of 14/300 at bp usage time); this is also very time efficient (2 battles, 1 bp [cycle], [cycle] etc...) as opposed to the 161 team which needs (1 battle, 1 my100, 1 battle, 1 my100, 1 battle, 1bp [cycle], [cycle] etc...) which is
A. more time consuming (constant page swaps),
B. contingent on somewhat limited resources (I have plenty of my/regular bp, I used up the 18 or so my100s I had and used my100elixers to get the last few battles for my 161 trial)

I think this sounds about correct, however there may be some sort of threshold rounding points... my 143 gets 15 minimum, while my 161 gets 17 minimum so it may be rounded up for lower higher bp forms (say the 140-160 bracket) and round down for the higher high bp bracket (say the 170+s). I haven't personally tested it with <100 A forms, or anything.

having had the chance to read through this thread a little bit; I haven't got anything that hasn't been mentioned. just some +200-500 atk/def/hp items, some +/- 2-5% dodges, and up to 5% nullify DED.

I haven't got any crystals from battles yet after at least 7 tries.
So far I have an increase to my HP and ATK through relicas.
The only thing that concerns me about relicas is making chance factors matter too much, like with ones that have a chance to completely nullify an effect. It seems a tad bit too much.

Adding a flat amount at the end means lower and lower BP forms are more "optimal" because the flat amount added remains static.

A theoretical 1bp would win on average 1.5 crystals
A 100bp team would win on average 11.5 crystals

With 100bp, it would take roughly 7 or so battles to see a win at 15% - for an average of 11.5 crystals
With that same 700bp with the above example, you'd get 700 "wins" with a 1bp team and net about 105 wins and 157.5 crystals.

Super duper exaggerated and impossible example built on the very early data we have so far, but it shows why a +flat crystal modifier makes lower teams more efficient. Assuming they can win every fight.

so i've done over 35 battles and STILL have yet to get any crystals.... guess I'm just that unlucky huh -.- and to top it off my items were pretty crappy (from the free 100)...

Gauntlet of Rigidity= +400 def. 50 crystals
Armlet of power = +120 atk. 20 crystals
(last 30 crystals i got bracelet with +130 hp, but salvaged and forgot name)

and because of shitty drop rate guess i won't be trying again for some time ><
