Worst skill leveler ever.

I have to be the worst skill leveler ever. I fail almost as many times as I succeed. I traded a covert down skill for an impulse down skill. Then I tried to skill up Quetz from 2 to 3 and failed. Talk about a wasted trade. I also tried to create some skill stacks and failed twice trying to level from skill 1 to skill 2, failed three times in a row going from skill 2 to skill 3, and failed five times trying to create a skill 4 stack. I'm mostly venting here but is there anything special to creating skill stacks and leveling skills in general that I'm missing or do I just have the worst luck ever?

No, you're just experiencing the change A Team made to their skill-up probability table, which some people around here will insist never happened.

I just see a lot of people say they never fail leveling a skill 1 and rarely fail leveling to skill 4 and then using skill stacks to level higher skill levels and I failed twice trying to level a skill 1 and can't even get skill stacks of 4 without a ridiculous fail rate. So maybe it is more common but it just feels like I have terrible luck when others make it sound so easy lol.

oh don't worry. I have failed 4 times in a row now trying to level my moonlight bird's skill.

lvling crit up from 2 to 14 today
lvl 3-4 failed once

lvl 4-14 failed maybe 2-3 times using stacks(4)

I'm just trying to create stacks of 4 to clear room in my inventory and to try to sell. I can't even do that without incredible fail rates. At least I'm clearing room I guess.

Yes. Greed Team upped the skill failure rate dramatically recently.. I'm not wasting my skills until they fix that. Its ridiculous.

I'm not sure they changed all of them...I did crit all the way to lvl 12 with ZERO failures...go to level up lind with 1 agi and it failed...jupiter has been a pain in my ass to get past (5)...I think they just did it with the most popular skills

Crit was one of the ones I failed to level up to level 2. I also failed to get any crit stacks of 4.

I think it also has to do with the sac mon...if its BP is lower than the one sacing to it fails for me more...so use the lowest BP as the one to stack them on

Well I wasn't The wheel of fortune attention to bp but I was sacking A's into B's when possible.

My advice: If a monster fails to level up(and it's skill 1), penalize it by making it the sacrificee(ouch). That way, you can teach your monsters to skill up... or else.

I do the same. It does safe you 100g piece as well in the process so added bonus.

I'm sorry to hear that skilling to 4 is failing so often now. I haven't made too many stacks recently but haven't notice the change. On average it use to take me 6 to get to a skill 4. Didn't seem to have change but than I have stop tracking. Ignorance is bliss lol

Definately not alone, happens to me all the time.

So much so that I dislike skills now, and have most skills just sat in the box till I'm so bored I can stack them.

note 2- this is only advised when dealing with skill only cards... not when leveling your formation's skills haha

and I agree that I've been having a horrible time leveling up my wwsp+ I got her with skill level 3, I leveled her to 4 no problem, since then I have fed her~3 (1) 3(2) and 1 (3) and she is STILL skill level 4!!!!!! really irritating... I haven't even messed with her for a while now, considering just maxing her n leveling skills some other time.

Ouch! That's rough failing on skill 1.

It took me a good long time and many failing (4)-stacks before I could max out my Pit+ just recently. In a more recent example I have the same problem with my Paimon that got stuck at skill 4 and between 7-9 despite (old formula) stacks.

It is going to be extremely painful and expensive to level up my Dragon of Jupiter skill. I tried a (3) stack to level up from 5 to 6 but failed.

We need another Mobius event with hella skills LOL... Thinking back i think i underestimated the importance of that event. It brought us good skills, useful 30BP monsters, quality AA (not crappy 16BP) and some good ol' clan teamwork beating those shadows.
