EX Monsters

So, there is a new type of monster 'EX'.  It appears to be a rip off of Hellfire where you have to get 4 of the same monster to fully evolve it.  The difference is you have to have the cards at Max level, and you have to battle to get items to evolve them also.  The stats on the final evolution look to be just lower than an AAA reg.  But at only 50BP it's much more valuable.  I had 2 clan mates do the 11x summons.  They both summoned 4 of them.  So they are VERY easy to get.

Now that I've explained a little bit about them let me say this. I'm quitting this game because of these.  The AAA's destroyed the AA+ market, and made AA+ teams useless in events like the current Clan Wars.  They also have a huge advantage in all BP based events.  And now they introduce 50BP cards that are almost as powerful.  That annoys me a little, because I think for this power level they should be  in the 60-70 BP range.  Especially since we already have AA's at 50BP.  But the part that's making me quit is how easy they are to summon.  2 11x packs and 8 EX come out of it.  They're easier to summon than A+ progs.  If they were at least as rare as AA's then the market could adjust to them. But there are hundreds, of them out now.  They're in the TM for 45-65 EP each.  So now AA's are really done for.  If there are cards that are much more powerfull for about 160-200 EP what's the point of them?  Yep, done with the game. I hope everyone else enjoys it still, but I'm out!!!

Well, i agree with you. I don't quit only because i still didn't have found a game worth DS.

The game died since a long time, now it's just getting worse and worse.

Warning for anyone who has ex
I evo ex one step, then can't put it in tm or gift. I don't wanna try to evo it to step 4 just to find out I still can't put it in tm. If you wanna sell it, sell it fresh

So on the last stage of evolution you pick 1 of 5 types to turn this into. So if you do this 5 times, you have a 250BP super formation that will render everything currently out into garbage Sad

Some more informations to this from ateam would be great. But those information would kept many people away from buying SP to get EX mobs.

So what is the correct way now?

1x EX stage1 + 10x Flesh stone of vitality = EX stage2
or
1x EX stage1 + 1x EX stage1 + 10x Flesh stone of vitality = EX stage2

I'm honestly thinking I'm done too. Stats on max evolved EX are ridiculous. Clan mate has one. It has skill of "health up+". Said skill gives a 50%HP boost to all form monsters. So, get enough EX with skill+, your AAA team is now irrelevant. AA agility only made things more interesting. But EX is just ridiculous. My AAA+m form costing around 2.5k EP worth is now irrelevant and value will probably drop to reflect that

Think you max it and then use the flesh stone to get it to stage 2

Really I think the Ex monsters are making up a weak implementation of AAAs. The AAAs have always been kind of crappy and overpriced, pound for pound. They take way too much money to evolve, level up, have no skill unless you add one, and stats only = to an 80 bp AA+, for 100bp cost. Lower your EP pool if you want to use a couple and be able to attack once... :-/

Ex monsters are probably what AAAs should have been, but aren't... ease of summoning aside.

Plus you gotta love... the less clothes they have, the more powerful they are! SHWING! lol

Can u ask your clan mate if the result when evo to grand ex is random? Or can you use a special gem etc. to get a special skill?

Yeah, could you get more info for us?  I'd be interested in finding out more about the combos using these too.

I'm also curious if you just need 1 monster, +m, and crystals, or if you need 2 monsters, +m, and crystals to evolve.

I just evolved one to second stage. You have to max the first stage (lvl30 is max for stage one) and then have the needed items. Second stage looks like it maxes out at lvl70, plus you need 20 of the crystal things.

I notice there is a picture of 2 different types of stones on the splash page of the Ex monster details... the yellowish "fleshstone of vitality" and a round white stone. Any insight on this?

What are the needed items for the first stage? Is 1 enough for the first evolution? Wondering what kind of drop rate on the items, I have been battling and not had any drop yet, but there are lots up for auction. Hope to cash in on selling some, just gotta get them 1st.

I don't know about the other stone yet. Evolving from stage 2 to 3 doesn't need it, but maybe the next evolution stage does. 


Stage 1 to 2 takes 10 fleshstone of vitality, stage 2 to 3 takes 20 of them. 


Stage 1 maxes at lvl30 and stage 2 maxes at lvl70.

You cannot trade them past stage 1.

How do you get the stones? Just battling normally, or do you have to have a EX monster in your formation? Hope this isn't the case.

So far I got 2 flesh stones of instinct (green), but I cannot trade/gift them.  As far as I can tell there are 5 different types of stones.  Seem that only "yellow" (vitality?) are able to trade.  To answer MoRandi question: you only need 1 ex and stones to evo.  But seem that stone is not easy to get and you may need crazy amount of stones to finish the last stage.


To me, this seems like a fun project to see how far you can get the ex to evo, so I bought 1 from TM.  You can get 1 for as little as 25ep (may be less by the time you read this)
