Bingo Math - Optimizing Your Scratches

Hope this helps. Remember, it's random. But in reality, you can do the best by optimizing your scratch pattern.

Facts:

• 11 days = 11 free scratches
  
• 5x5 Bingo Board = 25 scratches to complete
  
• 5x5 Bingo Board = 12 lines (5 horizontal, 5 vertical, 2 Diagonals)
  
• Completing a horizontal/vertical line of 5 scratches grants a line bonus
  
• 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th lines grant 2 scratches
  
• 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th lines grant bonus reward
  
• Each scratch reveal is a random bonus. No two bingo boards are the same. The pool of bonuses are the same however. Please help fill them out.
  

Given that you can get 11 free scratches and 10 line bonus scratches, it is not possible to scratch out the entire Bingo Board just on free daily scratch and line bonus scratches.

However, some scratch tiles will give bonus scratches! This makes it theoretically possible to scratch everything if ATeam provided enough scratch bonus tiles.

Most effective scratch technique:
-Begin anywhere day 1
-Fill out a complete line
-Complete a line that connects with the line you just completed
-Complete lines that already have scratches after 2nd line

So if I'm understanding this correctly. does it matter where we start as long as we go from line to line like in the original post? If not, thats really stupid that its luck based. Im trying to get them all

This is correct. It IS luck based. But to optimize your scratches, its best to go line to line.

Of course you could do an alternating minefield style A1 -> A3 -> A5 -> B2 -> B4, etc and see how lucky you get with bonus tile scratches to fill in those lines after

I would think so. Theres probably some line bonus that lets you open extra sqaures.

alright so if lets just say my luck is completely awful. If i follow say for instance the strategy the OP had of going A1, A2, A3, etc and I happen to not get any extra scratches till the very end, will i be screwed out of getting them all?

no you will get at least 13 squares which is at least one line bonus

Yes. You can get 7 scratches by Day 5. But if you get no bonus tile scratches, ever for whole event, then you can only max out THREE lines.

Day 7 = 2 lines (7 free scratches + 2 line bonus scratches)
Day 11 = 3 lines (9 scratches for intersecting lines + 4 more scratches to complete line three)

My Bingo today so lucky. First scratch gives me +2 scratch resulting in another +2 scratch and a +1 scratch. Total of 8 scratches today. 1 free, +2 from line, +5 from tiles!

Hey Fiendish Devil,

The diagonal I made was the third line that I completed for this event. This gave me the +2 square bonus tiles and I used the two bonus tiles on the upper left box and the one diagonally to the bottom right of that one. I plan to complete the second diagonal tomorrow. I hope this helps.

diagonals do count
monster limit+ is the penultimate prize
two bingo summons being final prize.

so after I scratched my last eight squares a little while ago I had 3 bingo summons.
they say it's rank B or higher. well number 3 was tvg. so save all bingo summons.

Updated OP. I finished Bingo and listed out all possible prizes.

If you complete board, the big prizes that you get are 3 Bingo Summons and Monster Limit Plus. Bingo Summons seem to be a little better than Dark Summons. I received an A in one of my Bingo Summons.
