Order of breath skill during attack
I've been trying out a Blood Blob in place of the Condensed in my form, on attack.
So it looks like this:
Leader: Blood Blob+
2: Adan+
3: Nyar+
4: DBE+
5: Seeker+
The order of attack that occurs is:
Adan
Nyar
DBE
Seeker
Blood Blob (slumbering breath skill)
That's really nice for me, because it means that I get to sleep an enemy. But I thought that Blood Blob should attack before Seeker.
Does Seeker have extra inherent agility?
Did they change the breath mechanics to make it go last in the attack round?
So it looks like this:

Re: Order of breath skill during attack
Why dont find out yourself?
Put the seeker as your leader
Put the blob as different position
Put different agi20 on your party
..
Cheers

Re: Order of breath skill during attack
Sounds like work!
Sheesh.

Edit, tested:
Leader: Ripper
#2: Blob
#3: 2Face
#4: C+
#5: C+
The order of attack during my first turn was (Leader,#3,#2:breath,#4,#5)
Tested:
Leader: Ripper
#2: Beez
#3: 2Face
#4: C+
#5: C+
The order of attack during my first turn was (Leader,#3,#2:breath,#4,#5)
So it looks like breath attacks occur following physical attacks by monsters with the same inherent agility regardless of formation position, but prior to physical attacks by lower-rarity monsters.

Re: Order of breath skill during attack
one other question, that you should address. is your blob max level or not? i have noticed that whenever you have a not maxed monster in a form, regardless of position, it goes last(assuming it's same rarity as the others). my form right now is
rot+m
pit+ lvl 7-ish(8)
venus+m
beelz+m(17)
neptune+m
order of attack is rot, venus, neptune, beelz, pit
rot+m

Re: Order of breath skill during attack
Oh! Both my blob and beez are not max level.
I've got a chop who's lower than my blob and beez though, so in an hour or so when my BP recharges I can do more testing.
EDIT
It was the level! When I switched to this:
Leader: Ripper
#2: Blob (lvl 50)
#3: Chop (lvl 22)
#4: C+
#5: C+
The order of attack during my first turn was (Leader,#2:breath,#3,#4,#5)
So if I want to keep attacking using the Blood Blob as my leader, I need to remember not to max-level it. What I really should have done was make a Blood BlobM(20), not plussed. Once my current Blob+ is (20), I'll start on that project.
Thanks for the information, Armitaage!
