[CONFIRMED] Combos dont work

vorpal told me to make a thread about how combos dont work in battle.

he tested this with his monsters and my lone whale lead.

no damage difference was detected with/without combo

Confirmed.

Results with combo (Asura+ with impulse combo)
Attack: 6969

Results without combo (Asura+ without impulse combo)
6946

With a 10% attack combo on Asura+ (maxed with 72xx attack), it should gain over 700 more attack... it gained only 23.

so in game when you add up the attacks and then go to your battle screen it works out to add up the bonus and combo.. but in fight it doesnt? is that correct

True if you knew for certain that combo bonuses directly effect monster attacks. But we don't have the slightest clue how battles are calculated. Perhaps total stats are used in hidden calculations such as agility is. And if so perhaps combos play a role greater than simply boosting monster attacks, which vorpal has confirmed they do not do.

What I'm saying is, you've proven that hey don't increase monster attacks. Not that they are broken. Until you know for sure how battles are calculated.[code]

Combos are just generally useless. There's a reason I had been losing to people with mismatched teams when I had an impulse demon team of 47k attack.

Wow... This explains sooo much

just a question.. did the monster you attacked have a skill.. if so what was it and would it have an effect on the battle.. and was it in a team or flying solo

So I guess this works now... but I wonder if they fixed it so the % is exactly like the bonuses from buffs to all units in fights now.

Then... now combos works into battles with another player??

This was finally fixed in a patch from Ateam a while ago. Thread Closed.
