How long did it take YOU to get your first viable A+ formation

Just wondering how long playing or at what level were you when you achieved your first viable team. Just looking for ballpark estimates to know if I'm where i need to be. As of now I'm level 62 with this formation (all lvl 70):

All lvl 70
Total BP: 79

Lust Trap Necromancer+ (2)
Beelzebub+ (6)
Devil of the Abyss+ (5)
Scorn black wings+ (
Nidhogg+ (4)

(I also have a lvl 70 Skeleton Minotaur+ (1) that I'm saving to either sell for a couple quick EPs or more likely just holding on to it patiently until more Sin undead monsters to come out to make him a viable choice.)

I hardly ever find a team that beats me ATM, and I often pick battles with formations up in the 120's.

No offense but ur team makes no sense. I can see at low levels but by 60s u really should be maximizing combos by syncing species, rarity, guild, and level. You probably shouldnt have spent the time and resources maxing this team. Pic a species that has agility and go for it.

Again not saying this to be mean, just ttrying to help.

I know it doesn't really make all that much sense but you gotta make do with what you got.

I just picked up an astaroth the accuser+ today so all i need is child of pit and devil of endless night to have a beginner sin demon formation.



lol I had a pit+ forever ago with like skill lvl 8 but decided to sacrifice it to my nidhogg+ because it had 2 more BP. Oh man all the facepalm moments from my first couple of weeks playing before i knew anything about the game.

I've never heard of that monster before, is it particularly rare?

You should sell that prog on the auction market for around 20 eps, better than keeping it. Especially in the beginning of an event, progs go for higher prices, and slowly go down as more appear.

Personally, it took me about 3 weeks. I started on the drops of darkness event, and I am sin. I had a covert crawler formation, pretty good formation I might say, until I realized I needed sin demons. In about 1-2 weeks, I already had DDD+, balrog+, devil of abyss +, spite devil +, and beelzebub +. I wasnt particularly lucky in the beginning, but I traded around ALOT. Now I have
Balrog +
Devil of abyss+
Spite +
Flame kag+
and child of pit +
all max, and just seeing whats in store for the future
Ive learned that trading around skills and monsters, can net you a small, but profitable amount. I have around 63 eps that I can trade, and various decently rare monsters, so its not impossible. I did spend like 4 dollars in the beginning as a starter because of how enticing it was but I never got anything good out of a dark summon, or anything, just somewhat decent monsters. :}

Personally I would go with flame kat+ over endless. Its cheaper and has better stat. Endless is getting rare now and ppl love the winged demon formation so her price has risen alot. Flame kat is still cheap and with pit you're not running a winged formation anyway. You can probably trade accuser+ for both flame+ and pit+ and maybe more.

wow saccing a skill 8. Such a waste lol.

Personally, it took me awhile to get an A+ formation and I went Sin demon right away. Probably a month and a half but than I wasn't spending any My teacher said good "job" and this was way back at the start of the game when As were actually rare.

I agree with above comments the only thing you got is impulse combo... as for what I think you question was I was lv35 when I got a sin wing brute team 5xcombo all sk20... I trading a lot to make ep and eventually got it...

winged psychos, I actually wanted to go winged psycho wyrms, but there weren't enough at the time (I guess there are enough now). I'm level 52 now and my current team is

I've actually had this team for quite some time and have been working on leveling up, I'm looking forward to getting my first +m 5x combo team

At 43 I finished maxing my winged brutes, wwe, wwo, sgq, dbq, valk
Just yesterday at 68 I finished maxing psycho demons, Dcc, Belph, typhon, lewd, Bqs
And without spending Rats pats girly lats. Time to work towards Vic.

How did you max them so fast? whats the best way to obtain monsters with skills to max your formation?

More importantly how did you get a Valk at level 43, lol. Those things are expensive as heck.

Anyway I'm pretty sure you can just spam Raid Crystals for the best value for Rats pats girly lats to get B rank monsters, and just hope they happen to have the skills you want. Either that, or you can buy skill stacks from other players.

first viable A+ team? lol i had a quick and dirty tyranny brute A+ team by the time i got to lvl 26 it was

Took me about a month of playing to get my Impulse Demon team. Then again I made small investments to ensure I got the best, yet affordable.

Today as of October 7 2012 I just completed my Covert Crawler Team. The best of the best for A+. I'm going to be using that just for a change of pace. It gets boring to have meta-game team after a while aka my Impulse Demons xD

I got lucky with a flashback summon during Repudiate Labs and got a Mad Flame, when I was probably around level 30 or so. I got offered many maxed teams, AAs, and EP. I eventually settled on what seemed to be the best offered max covert team, 4 combo wyrm: plague, quetz, sky, vritra, and lind. I'm not sure if I choose the best offer, but the team has proven to be quite strong, and I don't regret choosing it over EP or an AA.

For a low level. maxed team is the best choice. That's a really good team but I would replace plague with one of new winged rancor wyrm particularly jupiter and get the winged bonus.

I maxed out a Jupiter, to see the effect it would have on my team. I gain about 7k ATK at a cost of 1k DEF and 3k HP, but I lose out on the DED (rank 9) from Plague. Do you think the increase to ATK would justify the defensive and DED losses?

DED effect is hard to quantify as combat is non-linear between attack and defense. Most A+ teams you encounter would not have a high defense or have increase defense monster so your attack should penetrate and does about the same damage with/without DED. So I think in general Jupiter will be better but in some situations the DED might be better. I'll be interested to see if you're willing to try it out and see what works better. On paper, I think Jupiter will be better in most cases.

Once upon a time Valk was pretty cheap around 10 to 15 ep for +.
I actually traded two A dawn lilans during the 15 bp tourney for a maxed Valk.
Turned out to be a pretty good investment. Though I honestly dnt get why it's so valuable.

when valk was summonable it went for as low as 10 for an A+.

Tbh I don't really understand why Valk goes for so much. The supply never really would have gone down, because unless everyone was spectacularly stupid and sold (as in, deleted the monster for gold) then there should still be the same amount of A+ Valkyries today as there were when they were still summonable. Supply and Demand, really - and seriously, the Winged Brute formation was supposed to be inferior to the Psycho Demon team (not too sure, but read that somewhere on the forums) so the demand for Valk shouldn't be so high either.

Then why is Valk so expensive? Just because it has a "unsummonable" tag? Then it must mean that just by being unsummonable a monster instantly becomes valuable.

Midnight Valk. is valuable because the Psycho Winged Brute Team is very(extremely) popular, and Midnight Valk. is a good monster to have on the team.

It seems like getting those first few EP when you start is probably the steepest part of the difficulty curve in this game. I really enjoyed this new event in that it 'created' the incentive to start making some new teams for the separate walls. I was getting a little bored with the game once I finished maxing my formation, and building three new teams over the last couple days has been alot of fun.

Current hybrid sin brute Form: Despair, Cruel, Blazing, Hilda, WWE, also got scorn for 5x, generally use WWE for agi and 4x

new hybrid sin dragon Form: MLD, NWD, Uranus, Furnace, Lind
new covert dragon Form: Quetz, Sky, Mercury, Jupiter, Lind
new psy demon Form: Leth, DCC, Sekhmet, Lewd, Typhon
