Leveling skills

I have noticed when leveling skills that your monsters actual level also raises but you get no stats for that level. If this is the case then when skilling up a monster you want to keep long term in formation, is it not better to level it to 70 BEFORE upping the skill levels. By doing so you gain, or at least fail to lose, 19 levels of stats.

Is my thinking right on this?

Hi! they actually DO level up the stats. Try it with some level 1 skill 1 monsters, it just doesn't show the whole level up stat # -> # thing. But if you try memorize just one stat beforehand, and look at the stat after skill level up, you'll see that the leveling takes place normally

skill leveling is consider a sacrifice so you get the normal level benefit with a chance of skill increase at the same time so JessicaMD is right.
