What to do? Trade progs or keep them for next event?
I have an Aya and an Inos. My clan is not very strong and not organized at all. I have a nice A+ team (for a beginner) but no way near enough to do serious damage to a boss.
So should I trade the progs while they are in demand or keep them and see how far I can get in the event just clearing floors and collecting some stuff you might get from there? Hopefully collecting stuff will be more rewarding than the stuff I could get from trading them.
What I want to know is will these progs help me get through floors more easily allowing me to find some nice stuff or are they only good for fighting bosses - because this last will be useless for me.
Need a bit more info on how this type of event works please.

If you're not trying to rank, I don't think you'll fight enough battles to make the progs worth it, compared to what you can get from selling them.

Not quite true. This event is similar to Mobius ages and there were plenty of nice monsters especially from higher level bosses which were quite hard to kill without attack specialists.
Soulbeast knight, Lethargic Belfegor and Flame Kagutsuchi are part of the most popular formation till now.

Attack specialists makes it easy to get more rare event monsters, which can be sold later

You're vastly overestimating the difference they make. And you're also forgetting that this isn't a solo event. Bottom line, if you take out 15% of a boss without a prog, or 20% with one, you're still getting the same number of summons out of it.

well, good luck defeating lv20+ boss without attack specialists. it is ATK/bp ratio that matters
As I said as higher level boss as better summons

i think you should keep em. i rememebr from last time i had just 1 prog+ and i got mutiple 30bp monsters, which would have been much more difficult without the prog+. the 1 prog+ only loses effectiveness when the bosses where high lvl and had a lot of defense, basically what im saying is, itll be easier to do the 15% and save bp with the progs

Qith your particular situation (weak clan, etc), you'd be better off selling them for EP in my opinion.

Re: What to do? Trade progs or keep them for next event?
Mmmh... difficult but I think I will hang on to them for now. I will see what they do for me in the first few days of the event and then decide if I will trade them or not. Not sure what the price of these will be after the event has started but it is all for a bit of fun anyway.
If these progs help me get a few nice monsters then I will be happy with it. Maybe not the BP30+ lvl21 and up monsters but the BP20+ lvl 11 and up are also interesting for me (hope they will have skills).
Only it seems the progs only give you an advantage when fighting bosses not to clear floors/levels (if there are any floors/levels like in other events). Clearing floors normally also gives you nice items (potions, summons, monsters).
Anyway I hope they will help me get some goodies and otherwise I will toss them in the first week of the event.

Well seeing now when they announced the event rewards I think you should sell ASAP.
1st reward monster is crawler for each guild
2nd reward monster is : Sin/Undead, Covert/Demon, Psycho/Beast
The only useful monsters are AAs but they are from bosses lv.40+
Ateam screwed us yet again

Useful depends on your current level and team. Any BP20 and up monster looks useful for me. If you have a full AA+ team then they might not be so useful.
And I did not pay anything for this game (just spend a lot of time) so I do not feel screwed. Summoning a Lindworm just now also helps off course. :-)

For low levels formations from A+ which include AGI UP are the only useful formations.
This are:
Covert - Crawlers, Beasts, Wyrms
Psycho - Brute, Creations, Demons
Sin - Wyrms, Demons, Beasts
This are the best formation for each guild which are usually evolved with swapping 2 monsters for AA/AA+ versions later.
P.S. pm me if you have questions

Might as well quit this game then because I have an Sin Brute team.
I understand your point but I think (/hope) it is not so black and white. I am glad not everybody things this way because otherwise all trading will boil down to everybody wanting the same 5 monsters. In the end you want the best and most brutal team you can get but while you are trying to get this team you trade all kinds of cards and maybe experiment a bit with the cards you have.
It is not that I have so much experience with this game but I played a lot of Magic the gathering and it was the same there.

Actually I have a brute team (mixed) with agi.

This statement seems not to consider that new A-rank monsters for all guilds and species are being released 2-3 times per month.

I did not saw any new monsters with Agility up released since I started playing. I should admit that having agility up in any species/guild will make the game more flexible still the only existing agi monsters are the one I mentioned

This is true, but my point is simply that you hadn't seen any AAA monsters released prior to the end of December, either. It seems quite likely to me that if they would release AAAs, they will eventually release more agility up.
I expect them to some day release agility down. That would be a game changer

Re: What to do? Trade progs or keep them for next event?
well AAs and better monsters are obtained generally through real money and this is not what I am doing and seeing how Ateam milks money from their customers makes me more happy that I never used cash on this game.
I just don't like to give money to companies which threat me like a cash bag.

I hear ya!
And you're right... those are currently some of the best formations in the game.
Sorry if I upset you in any way... I was just trying to keep a positive attitude and engender some variety in the game.
