Is there anyone on the forum that makes the picture of your team, guild, screen name and what not?

Re: Team picture in signature
it's just a series of standard backgrounds and emblems. monster profile pics/shield/title snapped to grid at certain designated locations.
top left align 0,50, 100,50, etc...
consistent fonts and positioning based on length (for name mainly, id may have to be smaller in certain cases where name is very long)
600x150 backgrounds (any backgrounds will do really)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
guild emblems/titles (w/transparency)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
honestly much more difficult to explain than to actually do
(i.e. the time it took to individually upload each piece of the template and explain it is FAR greater than the time required to actually make one of these sigs)
would you like one?
yours would come out like this...
without monsters:

populated with monsters (I don't know what your team is):

That's the shit, son.
In the event you get bored, I'll take one.
XJF - Tyranny - 1900598563
Moonlight Selene+, Dawn Lilin+, Death Call Covenant+, Blue Steel Devil+, Lewd Twist Lologi+.
Also, small consistency error. You have "Tyranny, Rancor, and Impulse". Shouldn't it be Tyranny, Rancor, and Sin? Or to match the way you have Impulse, it could be "Psycho, Covert, Impulse"

about the consistency error; prepare to have your mind blown
this is the kind of weird thing that catches my attention that most people don't really care about lol
impulse, tyranny, rancor (all nouns and exclusively nouns)
sin (noun/verb), psycho (noun/adjective), covert (noun/adjective)
also 'sin' is inconsistently short when compared to tyranny and rancor in terms of word length
so... I went with 'impulse'

Thanks!
Wow, I didn't really look that into it lol.
But it does make sense. haha
btw, what program did you use to do the layering (PS, paint.net, etc..? And where did you acquire the in-game presentation of the monsters?

paint.net, monsters are directly from the spreadsheet on this site.
just swap ..._big.png

Re: Team picture in signature
I made mine with gimp2, didn't think you could just upload the images one by one. All that time spent for nothing... (just kidding it was rather quick) This is a great idea by the way.

I know Death Blade, Hellish, Odin, and Dru, but I'm not sure I've seen the middle one before
Ha, it's CDevourer, found it in the Bestiary.
Epic, nonetheless

Yeah the Continent Devourer alone cost me more than all the others combined... He was the event reward from the labyrinth event, which was my first event back when I was a noob. Getting him really was a symbolic moment for me.

How the hell did you get the event monster when you were just starting out?
Or did you purchase him after?
I recently finished collecting all Progs from the Den of Woe Event, which was my first

I got him many months after of course. Quite recently in fact, when I made the switch from A+ wyrms to AA+ form. Building a cheap AA form is a piece of cake for rancor players: dru 15ep x2, death blade 25ep x2, Odin 50ep x2, Hazling 45ep x2.

no problem, the (red/pink/green) lightning idea was really Jessie's when she made the first prototypes of the sigs I was describing, for that reason lol ours are slightly different from the standardized ones because the templates for ours weren't saved before the images were flattened, so the format can't really be precisely replicated.
The current templates are just googled "[COLOR] lightning wallpaper" rotated and cut.
I think the background aspect of the whole signature thing is where most of the flexibility exists (the monsters are standardized images, the guild emblems are standardized images). I thought about including the emblem/guild title directly on the background template, but sometimes someone may want a different background, so I left em separate.
kheimon! I really like what you did with integrating the rancor logo into the background, looks very professional! I'm guessing you somehow extracted the vector graphic of the emblem itself and photoshopped it into the background or something? (p.s. if the terminology I'm using here makes it seem like I have no idea what I am talking about, you are absolutely correct! my "expertise" at this graphics stuff starts and ends with layering. that's it. I first learned to do it with diagrams in powerpoint 10+ years ago, and I'm pretty much doing exactly the same thing in paint.net). If you have the time and interest, would you mind making available the background you use for your sig, and maybe possibly something of a similar fashion with the integrated guild insignia for the other guilds?
It really looks far more professional than the backgrounds simply yanked and cut from google images lol.
Also, armitaage, if you do make some sort of gui for this whole signature procedure, aside from having the standard backgrounds which will be built in, it would be nice to have the option to upload custom backgrounds (because that seems like the area that allows for the most customization, letting different users get different signatures) which would be fun!
so someone could do something like this, or any other background
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
allowing for a custom color theme would be nice for AA formations especially since it's getting less and less common to do pure guild AA combos.
pure red/purple/green might clash with someone's Ash/Moonsea/Ranimas/Gorger/Lind formation.

Re: Team picture in signature
lol, i fully intend to allow custom background images, that's not n issue.
kheimon, did you use the tribe image enlarged for that guild logo in your sig?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] like that one?

Re: Team picture in signature
The background I used was from the DS official site : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I played the story and printscreened the background when it was almost empty, then print screened once more when the 3 emblems showed up. I though these looked pretty good.
I used gimp2 to select a 600x200 spot from the background to make my banner, then cropped the rancor emblem from the 2nd image and layered it on top of the background, using the blurriest eraser possible to make the transition between the two unoticeable. Was pretty easy since the color scheme was very similar.
Only thing left to do was to add the text and pictures, that was a piece of cake! The whole thing was pretty easy but I'm satisfied with the final result.
Hope this helps! Copyleft

very cool! I didn't even know that ds had an official website lol.
unfortunately, I don't think I know how to do the rest of the stuff you described beyond printscreen, but those logos look good.
