Guild and Monster Type

I am still learning this game, so I am afraid I do not understand the importance of Guilds beyond the war bonus. Is there some sort of importance to using monsters that belong to the same as your guild (Sin Guild and Impulse Monsters, etc.)?

I kind of want to run certain formations, but I am not sure if I'd be wasting my time if they get stomped because of some rule I missed/am not aware of.

For using monsters in your own guild, you geta 5.5% stat bonus once the achievement is matched. Not game-breaking, but nothing to laugh at either.

You get 5% to all stat from using your guild and the achievement adds on top of that to a maximum of 10.5%. Its a sizable bonus.

ah. so does the achievement apply to any guild monsters you have, not just your own?

no achievement only applies to your own guild.
