- The Mobius Ages Event taught many of us a hard lesson.
While there are undeniable benefits of clan membership such as static facility bonuses regardless of how inactive or defunct your organization's membership may be, when push comes to shove; and coordination and cooperation is required, your stagnant organization will be a liability to your personal profit margin.
Enter Monster Corp. id.26818537 The Active Clan for Active Players.
est. 9/13; minutes prior to the scheduled server maintenance. Monster Corp. was conceived by frustrated active high-level members of the Angel Slayers clan; a once great organization which unfortunately became defunct over the last several weeks due to a totally absent leadership and middle management, which made adding new active players to the clan impossible, because seriously outdated inactive accounts could not be removed. This was disastrous for the Mobius Ages Event; with only 4-5 active members, I often found myself having to deal well over 100k damage on level 20 raid bosses which were 5-10 minutes away from expiry; and my compatriots shared that frustration.
Our goal is to create a collaborative community in the interest of mutual benefit. Be it ease of trading, success in cooperation-contingent events, accumulating honor points, or funding top of the line facilities for maximized stat bonuses. When one of us profits, we ALL profit.
One mistake made by many clans is the decision to 'spam' recruitment messages to random players, many of whom are fresh beginners, many of whom will SEE the invitation, say "hey why not", join, and stop playing the game a few days later; but some of whom will go on to become true top-tier players. We do NOT adhere to that practice. Entry into our group is limited to application in this thread, and direct referral by present members. We do not want you here, unless YOU want to be here.
There are three very simple requirements to join.
1. Be an Active Player.*
2. Minimum player level of 20; to facilitate trading.
3. Minimum formation score of 50
*What this means: you will play every day when a clan oriented event is occurring e.g. Mobius event which required cooperation to efficiently defeat the raids, OR the Drops of Darkness event which had clan-oriented rankings and rewards for aggregate drop collection. We're not asking you to spend your hard earned cash on soul points for potions to maximize your contribution. We're not demanding that you donate X-gold per time period Y to guarantee your membership. I understand that everyone has a job, and a personal life outside of this cell-phone game, but membership spaces are not unlimited, therefore; there are expectations for contribution in exchange for the benefits provided by occupying one. We just want you to play!
Anyways, I apologize if that all sounded incredibly hum-drum, grim, and bureaucratic, but we're here to have FUN!
Monster Corp. is NOT all business all the time. This organization was actually conceived while I was having a rather humorous monday-night-football 'smack talk' discussion with one of my old clan-mates (lat12) from the Angel Slayers.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS READ BEFORE USE
For Health Up, IPD, DEA, DED, IPA; enter 1 if your formation possesses the skill. 0 if not
For Guild Down...Dodge; enter the number of these skills your formation has; be aware of overlaps. 2x VB or 2x Pre may be counted as TWO, however don't count 2x Impulse Down because that's only a ONE
For Combos; enter a 1 if your formation has this combo. 0 if not
IMPORTANT: in the *other* combos section; do NOT count rarity and level as combos.
This is an AA form rating system which is intended to be used to rate pure AA formations; no 4:1 winged wyrms with lind, no AAAs with AAs. Therefore "other" combos is restricted purely to species ratio, bp and skill.
The Formation Score system was originally designed to use an "optimal" formation (at the time of inception; Amiyla, Crimson(IPD), Gala(DEA), Tlon(DED), Ast(IPA) ) and to compare everything proportionately against that. Being that new higher bp monsters and winged ones have been coming out rather rapidly; the definition of the optimal baseline is a 200bp formation with 5x combo (winged, species, rarity, level, guild), with hpup/ipd/dea/ipa/ded; which would illicit a score of 100. Formations with good skill synergy, combos, and high bp (at the time of creation; 200+ bp forms simply did not exist; they do now). may exceed the score of 100

Technically speaking, I wouldn't mind joining your clan that much, except for a few things:
1. I'm poor. I mean, it wouldn't be too hard to scrape out 50k to leave my current clan, but still, not very nice and also means few donations from me(which you might be okay with).
2. My clan isn't that bad. After some work kicking some people(10 inactives or so), it's looking okay. Not great, not bad either. And there are a couple of "friends" that I have(like Stormbringer(Larry, you should know him), but he could move)
3. I'm lieutenent at the moment for the clan. It would be rude to my clan if I picked up, and probably suck since I did do a fair amount of recruiting for the clan.
Anyways, good luck with churning My teacher said good "job" out.

As long as there are open spots, you and Stormbringer (haha yeah I know him, we recently went through some pretty thorough trade negotiations, which I think we BOTH came out of with something we were really looking for) are both welcome to join us!
I'm really glad that you could *fix* your clan! The problem with ours was that the general and lts just... weren't there. There were people who wanted to join, but couldn't because we had 15-20 accounts that hadn't been touched in probably weeks, and we couldn't get rid of them! We really wanted to fix it, but it just didn't seem possible within a reasonable timeframe (unless we waited for every single person to be auto-kicked for inactivity, that could have taken months!)
and about the donation; I'll actually just copy and paste what I say in the welcome letter
"All we ask is that you donate what gold you can (I understand if your priority may be finishing maxing out your team or something), but every little bit helps us get the facilities upgraded which is a plus for everyone!"
If that's something that's stopping you from joining us, don't let it. Nobody is ever going to get kicked or harrased for not donating.

The gold's not a huge issue, but it is an unpleasant one. It'll take me a bit to save up, but not too bad.
My general's an okay guy. He shows up now and then, enough to boot people and do some work, but I haven't seen him a huge amount.
In the meantime, I'll try to stockpile 50k gold and see how it goes. Maybe I'll join if my clan gets more inactive. 140 chars on a cell phone kind of sucks if you want to do wake up calls/expulsions, but it's doable.

By the way: I'd just like to make it clear that I'm not trying to 'pressure' you into leaving your current clan or anything like that! If the situation over there is working out for you, please don't leave on my account! As I said in the intro, we were founded by a group of players frustrated by inactivity in our old clan, and were willing to relinquish the static benefits of membership (stat boost facilities, which were SOMEWHAT developed at that point) in exchange for a more active group. I can't promise that our facilities will be maxed out in X days, or that our honor points will place us at ranking Y. We are 'starting from scratch' but if you would like to join us in this little venture, we certainly welcome you!

Nah, my clan is basically tolerable but mediocre for the moment, which is kind of odd. It's not that rich either, 1.5% is okay but not great. Donations have pretty much died down, but I keep decent tabs on our members, and I'll decide whether to leave or not in a couple weeks.

Try using BOTH in conjunction. Battle and do the event and dump crappy B mons. I've added 100k to clan fund today from battles + selling event drops. And got about 20k leftover for upping skills on maxed mons
