question about formation
Hello. I am more or less a complete noob. I learned this game as I advanced to my lvl 30 but now I dont know what I should do next. I play with my cousin but he is more noob then me, he is rancor, I am tyranny. Between us we have some good monsters I would say but now neither of us knows how to build our formations. Here is what monsters we have:
Purple
vicissitude colossus
aspidochelone
blade giant
evilmoth
white winged sky pirate
white winged colossus
white winged elite
scaled chimera
sekhmet
clarissa
lust demon
tiamut
Green
gusion
grieving mandrake
sky dragon
demon bait insect
berserker mite
Red
forsaken birth fiend
scrap meat zombie
kyuuki
skeleton minotaur
ladon
nidhogg
blunt blade devil
immoral witch hilda
cruel black wings
scorn black wings
Could u guys give us an idea about how to build our formations, me as tyranny and him as rancor?

Re: question about formation
You have made a great decision to sign up for this forum; the in-game communication and trade interface is pretty horrible
I'm a relatively new player myself, and I can say that this forum and
the users really helped me get "into the swing of things" so to speak
with this game!
A few tips that I found helpful.
You want
to get an A+ as soon as possible! A common mistake is leveling up A
mons, because their A+ counterparts are markedly superior, ALSO when you
evolve your As to A+ they revert to level 1!
If you've
got a whole bunch of B/B+s with skills, you should hold onto them, once
you reach level 20 and can trade; skills are an excellent reliable
(finding buyers is easier than finding buyers for mons) source for EP.
skills like agility go for 2:1 (2 agility for 1 ep), and most others
like increase/decrease attack/defense go for 5:2. Some "rarer" skills
like impulse/covert/psycho down and health up go for 1:1. So definitely
hold on to those skills! (Please note that during the current event, due to the market being saturated with 'void summons' it is absolutely a BUYER's market. selling skills at the present and immediate future will be very difficult even at greatly discounted rates)
A word on combos; at "higher" levels
(and by higher I mean higher level of net worth, not so much player
level), you're going to want to stack combos; this is expensive, but
it'll increase your combat effectiveness tremendously.
An "optimal" combo build would make use of...
guild(sin/tyranny/etc...)
rarity (all A+s, all AAs, etc...)
type (wyrm, demon, crawler, etc...)
level (all level 70s, all level 20s, etc...)
and possibly winged (if it has wings)
Each one of these combos will give you a 10-15% boost to one or two stats FOR YOUR ENTIRE FORMATION (attack, defense, health)
Good "starter" combos to work towards before you can afford to get that last winged brute or covert dragon are...
Guild (make sure all your monsters are red, purple, or green)
Rarity (make sure all your monsters are A, or A+)
Level
(to a lesser extent than the others, leveling up your mons equally
isn't bad. HOWEVER: if you manage to get a high power mon i.e. a balrog
or a marbas, which are both A/A+ mons, you may want to level them up
more than the rest of your party, and that will also yield satisfactory
results)
These combos are VERY easy to get, and give you a very noticeable boost in combat efficiency.
If
you want to grind out sacrifice fodder (C/+ mons) the best way is
mission 4.4; it only drops monsters (i.e. no collectibles for raid
crystals), it only costs 1 energy, and of all the missions that fulfill
the former two criteria: 4.4 has the highest gold return.
While
you're starting out; don't use energy potions or battle potions or
elixers; those are highly valuable currency. Use the untradeable 'My'
variants of them.
Also battling is a terrific way to get gold.
the mission gold rewards are a joke later in game when you need
thousands to sacrifice a single C mon. (sacrifice price scales up with
how high level the mon you're trying to level is.)
Trying to get
achievements is a pretty good idea; they give you little boosts to
effectivenes, decrease EP and BP recharge times, and give you hourly
free xp.
For purple(psycho), winged brutes are a very popular combo; I already see WWSP and WWE and clarissa on your list, and those three are certainly applicable.
For green(covert), crawler and wyrm combos are pretty popular. You've got demon bait and 'zerker mite which are both applicable.
I also happen to have some crawlers in my shop (not many at the moment, but I do stock them regularly) so if you're looking for more, take a gander.

Re: question about formation
If you're Tyranny, Go Winged Brutes and keep your WWSP, Clarissa, and WWE. Just evolve them to A+ and trade your other rare monsters for the needed Psycho Monsters you need.
You already have most of the good Psycho Winged brutes, you just need to evolve them to A+, which requires another of the same monster and 29,900 gold to evolve them.
Most people go with Psycho Winged Brute formation: WWSP+,Valkyrie+,WWOH+,WWE+ & WWO+. The poorer players switch Valkyrie+ for Silvery Goddess Queen+.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Re: question about formation
As people have said winged brutes ur best bet. But tyranny has three viable teams. Note they are viable because u can get at min 4x combo and the team has an agility monster. Demons is probably the most expensive and gives 4x combo. Creation is 4x. Winged brutes uses less powerful monsters, which is why it can be cheap, but yields 5x combo. Also important skills for an agility team is increase party attack and decrease enemy defense as the goal is to kill 3 monsters before they even attack.

I wonder why so many winged brute team leave silvery off. Would have thought attack up as essential. At skill 5 she adds more to the team than valkyerie and she is pretty easy to get. Maybe skill leveling is more expensive than these cards but Valk+ and WWOH+ is going through the roof.
Thanks,
