Changes include:
1. No A at floor 50 & 100. Just a FREE dark summon at each.

2. Revived summons replaced with Rank B skilled summons.

3. New "Charge Ahead" feature- speed ahead quickly.

4. Rank AA summon at floor 200.

5. Real bad news as bacsiha (Thanks bacsiha!) mentioned in this thread & Maverick 1986 (Thanks Maverick1986!) mentioned in another thread: No trading or gifting progressives or event reward monsters until after the event!



Everything else seems similar.

Looks like I'll actually participate in this one! And what is the covert floor reward monster's species?

35 bp creation,  greens can now field a 4X creation combo, albeit a very ghetto team.  The rewards are way more spaced out.  150 and 300 for the AA.

This event isn't worth doing. The AA progs are going to be expensive. Probably over 100 EP.  Then with a 10 day event spend another 200-250 for rank.  These mystics will not sell well.  The Winged Wyrms from last event are only selling for 400-450.  These will barely break 300 if that. Might even be in the 275 range.  So it's just not cost effective.  If you're Covert and you want a Mystic teams it's great.  Sin/Psycho players that make up 90% of the players get screwed.  Unless you're hell bent on ranking for the sake of doing it. Or gaining some levels sit it out and buy the reward.

Pretty awesome artwork for the Covert AAA reward, and a Mystic to boot since that form has exploded out of the gate.

Too bad Mystics are tied with most Wyrms in value as the most expensive covert monsters to get ahold of, few damn good stat ones out there now however.

Yet one more step in their campaign to destroy the game

I have bought 11X summons before really just for the fun of it. I realize that the chances of Summoning AA/AAA are low, but it's still a fun gamble once in a while.  However, I will never pay another penny after this change.  It's so fucked that we can't trade Progs.  So if you summon the wrong color they think we'll just keep paying until we get one that matches our guild?  Screw this. It's the 1st change that has me really contemplating quitting this game.

I have spent quite a bit of money on this game over many months, I actually should be thanking them for taking away any reason for me to spend more.

What's the charge ahead feature?  Sounds like instead of banning bots, they're going to let everyone autoclick

With all these changes.... Dark Summoner = Rage of Bahamut. Notice that the floor reward AAs also cannot be sold, gifted, or traded until after event. I'd wager that floor rewards may also function as progs but to a lesser extent. That is, if the "we want to be rage of bahamut" trend continues

I missed where it says floor rewards aren't tradeable. I also don't see any mention of chests not starting until x amount of floors.

Answer of the day: the last time that an event reward functioned as prog, there was a note about it in the event notes. To date, the only event reward that functioned as a prog was curse queen, dahlia.

Anybody ranked close to 500?  I'm curious where the cutoff is right now.  Thanks.

I'm not sure how to check, but I've completed 391 floors so there's a decent chance I'm in top 500. Last night I was ranked 436 with just under 150 floors completed.

Wish I had a prog, I feel I could have pushed for top 500   Blasted my way to 155 to see what I got out of the chest from the start, just been running off energy regen since then expecting an EP drop on one of the floors but as it still hasn't come I probably won't be investing anymore myep/my100 eps unless it looks like I can push to top 1k for mid rankings and see if I can't stay there till finals.
