CLAN EVENTS

I am Lt. in PYSCHOSIS Clan. We have run clan event before and awarded
prizes (ep/bp, skills, monsters, etc.) based on % gained in donation to Clan.

Would appreciate any input on how to make this more interesting while still
encouraging Clan Members to donate. Would offer home baked cookies if
A-Team would allow me to gift them!

I would also be very interested in clan events. I am a new general of a clan and I am not sure how to hold a clan event or how to award prizes. Any help would be great!

we also do 80s rock sing-a-longs in clan chat (bon jovi, dio, etc...) from time to time

or pager code conversations

and yesterday we started an official funny cat pictures thread for the clan

I read the thread about the secret santa. I will use that in December.

I do a honor point contest for our clan where the entrance fee is either a set fee up front, or you commit to donating all proceeds of battles for the duration of the contest. Works pretty well. Raised almost 5 million in a weekend last time.

I usually do a fund raiser contest for a 2 day or week long.The winner gets an AA.

I'm trying to set up a clan lotto. Any thoughts how to set this up so its a fair no second guessing random winner?

Every player gets to pick a number for every 10k (25k or whatever). After a set period of time use an online dice roller to roll 100d1000 whoever is closest wins.
this site will let you email results as it is rolled: http://www.rpglibrary.org/software/securedice/
(note that with 100d1000, you will have a result range of 100 to 100,000, so don't let anyone pick numbers below 100)
