Most of my allies are sitting this one out too. I've got the most of any of them and I'm only at 72 sets. I wish they showed daily ranking updates like they did for Vagrant Lands. I know some people didn't like it, but I thought it was nice knowing where I stood.

Same here...in the 70s and would like a ranking...yes its not much but I would still like to know

3rd lap around and up: lap reward can now summon from a new set of 15BP AAs (demons for Sin and Psy, a wyrm for Covert).

So Sin will have 15BP Explosive, 15BP Ruin, 16BP Invite, all demons.

Edit: just got an Epic Dark Summon, on lap 2! Didn't know that was possible. Lologi dropped from it.

epic dark summons... crappy a's with skills instead of crappy b's with skills. I still get excited to see em though, stupid scratch offs.

I don't understand this at all. Is this just to be nice and let other players pick up more torches when they fight in battles, by using less BP?

Well, I finally figured it out. I was really probably the only one in the dark, but just in case there is some other poor lost soul out there:

Set your team to a 30BP formation when entering the Battle screen in the event. You'll end up with more torches from battles, because the other ~30BP forms you'll be fighting will likely be retired, and your BP refills to 30 a whole lot faster than it does to 100 or whatever your usual form runs.

This probably doesn't apply to >100 level players, but then they don't need advice from me.

So glad I didn't get a prog for this one. Just finished the 3rd lap and not seen the Grand Summoner once.

I'm so freakin irritated right now.....I just took down a grand summoner....with no prog by the way...but I only needed one more candle to make a set so I only won 1 freakin candle....anyone else think its bull that they do not carry over ...if I need one more to make a set and I defeat a beginner summoner which gives me 2 then when I look at the new set there should be one there already...

Then do a battle for one? There is a strat to using your battles against other players smartly. You know when you fight a skill or grand because they have horn looking helms under their hoods., not regular hoods. Also on the hard path the lowest you will ever meet is an advanced summoner. There is a reason why you find those blue refills along the way.

I thought the same thing about the horns but that's not actually true I have been fighting a lot of skill summoners with the horns in the picture. So you can't actually plan for him. And I am on my 6th lap and have only hit him twice...lost the first time

Reread what i posted I said the horns are on both skill and grand summoners. Either way you have either 5 or 10 possible flames on horned summoners.

Finished 8 laps and I've seen 3 grand summoners....3. That's enough to make a man never buy DS for progs again.

How did everyone do?

I ended up with 145 sets. I was shooting for 150 for another epic fail, but wasn't about to pay EP or BP to get there. Recharge was not enough, sadly.

I ranked 537th. 6 sets away from ranking in the top 500. Feeling like a jackass for getting lazy right at the end!!
