Strategy for bingo? Empty Strategy for bingo?

Post by laxmane Mon Apr 16, 2012 7:32 pm

I see that it said that strategy is required to play Bingo to get all the squares. Anyone have an idea of where the best place to put your first bingo card or which square to start on?

I dont think there really is a strategy... I opened up bingo on my iphone, ipod and my girlfriends ipad and they all got 3k gold... you can try to make a line i guess instead of trying to take random spots but idk

what i mean is, strategy for selecting the spots. Im sure if you don't select the right order you won't be able to unlock all the spots. if that makes sense..

the bingo squares are random BUT, completeing one line will give you two more squares. Having ONLY so many days to play, to open them all its better think it out, so you can max the number of square you open.

10 days playing means 10 square to be opened
that means 2 lines
2 lines means 4 more square to open
14 total out 25
Now since someone said they found an "open another square" square, with some luck you can get to open them all maybe, but dunno what is the chance of getting those.

do the diagnol squares count? cause if they do, that gives us more squares.

its 14 cause you end two lines 5+5 and you get 2 bonuses of 2 squares.

Actually isn't it 9 squares to make two lines since a vertical and horizontal line will share a square. So by day 7 you should have min of 2 lines complete by day 9 a third which is where the overlaps happen... Choose carefully, I think.

Strategy for bingo? Empty Re: Strategy for bingo?

This is another poorly thought out event which they labeled as "strategy" when instead it will consist of a large degree of luck (unless they've programmed a "guaranteed open 2 squares" after so many days or unlocks). Lets look at how this should have worked:

11 days of event (16-26)
Lines #1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 give you "Open 2 Squares"
Lines #2, 4, 6, 8 give you "Open 1 square" plus an additional bonus item
All lines count (vertical, horizontal and diagonal... just like normal bingo)
--Using the above model, there is only ONE correct solution to unlocking the entire bingo board. No luck associated. Purely a thought out strategy for guaranteed rewards.

The current model is going to put some people (myself included.... because I have terrible luck) into a category of only unlocking 3 lines... for the entire event. It will be based solely on getting lucky enough to hit "Open 2 squares" several times during your lines.

Got very lucky today. Have two complete rows due to free scratch and sniffs chained together with a total of 10 squares unlocked.

Strategy for bingo? Bingo10

Number is the daily stamps,
Letter is the bonus stamps from line completion.

Complete the 2 digadonal first, the rest should be easy.

Other solutions are available.

Hey all, I figured that I would share with you my progress on the Bingo board as of Day 3:

Strategy for bingo? Photo16

I'll refer to each corresponding square as:

A1 A2 A3 A4 A5
B1 B2 B3 B4 B5
C1 C2 C3 C4 C5
D1 D2 D3 D4 D5
E1 E2 E3 E4 E5

Here's what I did with each square available to me:

Day 1 Square --> Placed in C3
Day 2 Square --> Placed in B3
Day 3 Square --> Placed in A3 (I received an Open 2 Squares Bonus from this one)
Bonus Square --> Placed in D3
Bonus Square --> Placed in E3 (I completed line 1 through this and got the 2 Squares Bonus)
Line 1 Bonus --> Placed in E5 (I received an Open 2 Squares Bonus from this one)
Line 1 Bonus --> Placed in E4 (I received an Open 1 Square Bonus from this one)
Bonus Square --> Placed in E2
Bonus Square --> Placed in E1 (I completed line 2 through this and DID NOT RECEIVE a bonus square. I only got the bonus reward)
Bonus Square --> Placed in A5

My goal in the next few days is to complete the diagonals and then work my way around the board and have it filled before the event ends. I hope this helps people out. Good luck!

On a side note - I have no idea if the squares have random prizes in them (someone please confirm), but if they do not go for squares: E4, E5, and A3 since they have the open square bonuses!

Thanks for reading my post.

-Kenshin
