No!

Devil ripper is much more valuable than bbd.

Bbd is more of a placeholder for impulse demon teams in the absence of good (expensive) members

It isn't that terrible of a deal as ripper is also a place holder as Asura and Haddu are both better unless you're going winged demon which isn't recommended. You can find it cheaper probably maybe ripper and 2 is more fair as max level counts for something especially if you're going to use it right away and blunt is underrated. Its pretty good stat for its price.
