PSYCHO DEMON TEAM Q & A Empty PSYCHO DEMON TEAM Q & A

Post by WongJ147 Mon Nov 05, 2012 8:19 pm

Hello everyone,
I am posting here to gain more knowledge on Psycho demon teams.
My current team is
Dawn+(14)
Leth+(1)
DDC+(6)
Lewd+(13)
BQS+(13)

I managed to get Blue Steel Devil and levelling him to max before I swap for Leth.
Question is, is it possible to create a psycho winged demon team? I traded for a SDD not too long ago
but she doesnt seem like she has wings. If someone can confirm if she is winged or not that would be great. Also what are the options for: Psycho winged demon(if possible) or if not possible, a really good Psycho demon team?

Really? This is a huge bummer. I really thought SDD would be winged since so many people were looking for her.

Yup SDD isn't winged.

Only Purple Winged Demon team for now is:

Dawn
Taroth
Blue Steel
Evil Moth
Selene
&
Lord of Massacre

Not sure if the pricy AAs are winged demons (Virup etc)

virup is not winged. I am pretty sure your list are the only winged psycho demons.

side note. victoria is also not winged despite the tiny wings on her helm.

Ah I see. Thank you for your guy's input. Much appreciated. Now what do you guys think a reasonable and attainable psycho demon team would be to date?
I was thinking:
Dawn or Leth (Leth is stronger but what if more winged creatures come out? Prob should keep Dawn)
Blue Steel (Probably have to add DEA in the future)
Lewd (SDD could be a good replacement if you can get her)
BQS (Cheaper alternative than stupid overpriced selene)
DCC (Agility is key)

Side note: I have also heard DCC is winged? So I'm guessing this is not true?
I'm really hoping they release more psycho winged creatures in the future

DCC isnt winged(though one of the 3 guys in the pic has wings)
no real psycho winged demon team unless a psycho winged agility demon comes out

The most bang for your buck you can get out of a psycho demon team is

Leader: Leth/Blue Steel
DCC
Sekh
Lewd/Leth (if leader is Blue Steel)
Typhon

ideally;

Blue Steel, Leth, DCC, Typhon, Sekh

or less ideally, but still pretty good!

Leth, DCC, Typhon, Lewd, Sekh (I have this team, a.k.a. I need to get a blue steel sometime)

It has the essentials like DED and IPA, AGI, Impulse Down (I'm pretty sure by far the guild down skill that will get the most mileage due to all the impulse players), and a fifth slot that can be filled with Lewd, or Leth if you use blue steel as leader

The thing is that all the other psycho demons like SDD, Selene, and Dawn are unjustifiably expensive for a really teeny bit of difference in power in SDD's case, and Selene and Dawn are just a joke... Although they will be handy if a winged agility demon gets release (or if that one winged guy from dcc goes solo Razz)

Can someone tell me why Steel would be the leader and not Leth because he has the highest HP? You get an additional bonus if you set the highest HP card (Leth) as the leader.

Can someone also tell me how exactly the lineup matters in battling? Here is my current lineup:

Leader: Lethargic (DED)
2: Sekhmet (IPA)
3. Typhon (Impulse)
4. Steel (DEA)
5. DCC (Agility)

Thanks!

I personally like Steel more as leader b/c I want him to attack (with his 9312 attack compared to Leth's 7766) as much as possible. Making him leader and doubling his HP does that.

Aside from the leader health bonus, attack order goes in order from 1 to 5. Having a few AAs mixed into an A form changes that with the AAs getting attack priority, and similarly P-strike will go out of order.

I personally have found it best to arrange monsters by high/high/medium/low/highest attack since I use target lowest hp.

e.g. by attack stat
1. 7k
2. 7k
3. 6k
4. 5k
5. 8k

The idea is that the leader should be able to take out the weakest enemy monster in a single shot. and # 2 should take out the next weakest monster, but if it doesn't; # 3's attack will finish it off with minimal 'waste' due to bleed-over (e.g. when a 10k attack monster knocks out a monster that only had a sliver of health remaining).

Depending on how the first two attacks go (1 or 2 downed), the third monster is attacked by either 3 or 4. If both, two lower damage sources generally take care of the situation. bringing the total enemies downed to 3. Which lets #5 with the highest attack hit a fresh higher hp target which minimizes bleed-over inefficiency. Which generally leaves the enemy formation with just the leader left over.

Otherwise, if 1-3 manage to knock out three, 4 does a great job of softening 4th target for 5 to finish off decisively, which once again leaves just the leader.

Naturally, this may all differ based on the formation you are using, and the attack targeting system you are using! But for target lowest HP, pairing them off like this seems to minimize efficiency loss due to attacking monsters with ~1k health remaining with a heavy hitter rather than a fresh target.

Personally I would sort demon team this way;
Leth 7.7
Sekh 7.3
DCC 7k
Typhon 6.3
Blue Steel 9.3

But then again, this all differs based on the targeting you are using.

e.g. with impulse wyrms, tons of people use NWD as their leader to maximize fielding time for that high attack, wheras I use NWD as #5. I wouldn't say either way is particularly better or worse than the other. But the above is just my interpretation of optimizing attack order

I would personally put this demon form in this order:

Blue Steel
Leth
Sekh
DCC
Typhon

because i use target highest level enemy, to eliminate the enemy's heavy-hitters before they can inconvenience me too much. so blue steel's high attack will naturally need to go first, as the heavy hitters frequently also have a lot more health. another reason why i would put blue steel first is that with the leader bonus he becomes a lot harder to kill, thus ensuring he will be able to attack again and again, and knocking the enemy down.

I like to use target highest for the item battles (lab vials, or that last one with the bells) since folks like to buffer their 'real' monsters with a bunch of Cs to keep bp low; target low hp backfires hilariously when you're using 3 As against 1AA with 4 Cs. (A lesson I learned by doing precisely that lol)
