Now that's just a silly idea, ranking rewards are only for profit, of course.

On topic: I really hope that second impulse AA is beast. They really need some kind of natural IPA, DED, or Health. Demons are almost all sin has been getting for a while now.

well, when they first released AAAs it looked like some sort of incredibly rare and impractical collectible... it's clear they're really trying to push AAAs on us (e.g. all the forgotten island events were basically "hey look at this fancy schmacy new rarity", ooh McFly has AAAs... oh wait he still sucks, let's make McFly's AAAs more powerful), and now quest rewards.

I'm very interested to see if this works at all...

stronger cards are nice and all, but AAAs require WAY too much bp to be effectively used.

Is a casual player going to want an AAA? (talkin lv 1-100s, lazy 100+ players) hell no; goodbye combos, and good luck getting more than 1 battle
per full charge

Is a competitive player (play and trade aggressively, or someone who actually buys soul points) going to want a AAA? Nah; there are plenty of positively devastating pure AA 4-5x winged combo forms which will suffer across the board with the replacement of a member; oh and also who wants "congratulations your bp reservoir now only supports 1.9 attacks as opposed to the former 3"

hell I certainly consider myself a "casual" player, but when I used to
chase rank; my form bp:bp reserve ratio was practically the #1 thing in
my head at all times; and every single formation change and upgrade had
to be mirrored in bp resevoir, and certain upgrades delayed or forgone
until I could level up to support the increased reserve needed for
multiple attacks.

Is a competitive player going to want a AAA team? in 99% of situations; no. You want energy for missions; and before someone says you can just pop your 5xAAA in defense and get by with a standard competitive ~200bp AA team; the fact that you need 500 bp for def at all times is a liability. and on the off chance you are insane enough to actually want a 5AAA team for OFFENSE; you're going to be making A team thousands of dollars in BP purchases if you want to output any decent amount of daily battles



I'm not against AAAs, they're an interesting concept; and some have really neat artwork. but they cost way too much bp to be practical for usage in any way I can conceive.
I don't know if A team is aware of this or not.




On a related note; that winged sin clan reward looks much more appealing than the AAA; and I do like me some sexy progs

There are players that really only battle all the time. They already have over 500 BP, so it's not a big deal for them to use 5 AAA's on defense. No one would use them all for Offense. There is no point. If you have a good AA+ team, skilled properly you can win almost any fight against another AA+ team. Unless you get hit bad with Species Down.
Then there are players that will add in 1 AAA+ and have a mixed team. If you have Wings/Species/Guild/ And the new Mix Rarity bonus and good skills it's not a bad idea. The AAA+ will be amazing tanks.

I agree about the BP consumption of the AAAs, with the stats they have I dont get it, higher the BP the better the stats but from the past few events with mobs at like 40-50bp have almost same stats, so really they should only be in the 50-70 range in bp

At the moment, I agree too... the AAA stats thing is just plain annoying, and the fact that they don't have skills is even moreso.

But don't forget we have relica now, and we don't know what all they can do.

Who's to say -- now or in the near future -- relica couldn't be created/added to "decrease the overall bp consumption of your form/AAA monsters by XX%", and possibly make an AAA form more desirable?

I found 7 for each guild, excluding Cypher.

FWIW, based on current formulas a max AAA+ is only the rough equivalent of a 75bp AA+ in stats. Max AAA reg stats are between those for a 60 and 61bp AA+.

Pretty obvious that they executed this poorly.
