death summoner

Damn it, after writing this event off and stopping @ floor 100 (not enough ep nor a prog to compete) they now release a death summoner!

Anyone seen one of these and was the reward any good?

Seen and unless you have a max AA team, unbeatable. My team is all max lvl, Pit+ (18), Asura+ (19), DoEN+ (17), Spite+ (17), Balrog+ (3). I don;t even attack first and get wiped out on round one.

I have my doubts that even an AA team can beat this. It's way, way stronger than previous events. A Team overcompensated to the point where it's pretty ridiculous.

They are just trying to get you to buy more dark traps for the new A monsters who reduce the power of those teams, this whole two week event is pretty lame.

To beat the death summoner you would need at least 2 A+ of the new BP 27 monsters, at least one matching your guild, to get you -100% to the death summoner stats. My team, maxed covert wyrm, didn't get to go first (one of those new AAs must have hidden agility up) and was hit for about 20k by each.

Lololol... A team made a legit death summoner. Maybe he'll just do something useless like drop a my bp potion.

One A+ of your guild will probably be enough. But those things are rare as hell and do we really want to The wheel of fortune 60 EP to get one and get what exactly? Maybe an epic dark summon (which is, more often than not, a Naga) and, if you're really lucky, an Anima summon (which will give slumbering breath spirit). Yeah, thanks but no thanks.

i have an all AA team of odin, taroth, dru, epetamu, and vlad all maxed with abilitys over 10 and i all of my monsters got killed in the first round except for the death blade and when he went to attack he did like 43 damage...no joke. Looks like this death summoner is a serious scam, i got nearly the same results with just an a blink dragon in my party, its pretty pathetic

Having fought him a couple of times now, I have come to believe that he's just broken. The reason I say that, is that I also had the 54 Damage thing happen but then, in one fight, I got a hit in for 9000 ish damage. So no idea if they actually intended it to be this hard.

You think they accidentally made it so that you HAVE to buy traps in order to have any chance at defeating these?

Calling it now, in the next day or so; A-Team is going to release a "whoops we goofed, here have a MyEP"

Oh good its not just me haha, my team is all lvl 70 rancor and got smoked in the first round and i was worried that i just sucked that badly

Ok, I just tried it with a fully maxed AA+ team, and I still didn't kill ONE of them. F.U. A Team...

I haven't had any issues with this guy.

Im using Green Beetle Prog A+ lvl 1

Blink Dragon A+ 70

Headhunting Exorcist A+ 70

Druantia AA+ 150

Forgotten Holy Soldier AA+ 150



Beetle dies round 1, then the rest of my team takes out the Death Summoner in one round.



Haven't actually lost yet, all you seem to get though is A Rank Summons, Epic Dark summons, or 10k.

I dont know i did try it with blink dragon, lost shiver soul and magma dragon and they still died in 1 hit, maybe i need to max out blink dragon so they can survive that first attack?

I don't think Magma Dragon works against McFly.

Definately try maxing Blink though, It has almost 7k atk off the top of my head if A+Max

Yeah, I believe only the three newest Cocoon As will work on debuffing the bosses.

I think we already know you can beat it with the specialists. The issue is that they were never absolutely REQUIRED until now.

McFly is serious business this time. I initially tried with team of pit, asura, balrog, endless, and spite. All were max with max skills and did not even kill a single monster.

The team that is working for me right now is the SIN version monster that weaken Mcfly, firelord AA+ max skill, firelord A max, mad flame+, and asura+ max with max skill. I don't have problem killing him anymore. I think all you need is at least one of those monster that weaken them and a max AA+.

Considering that the 'super summoner' boss guy seems to only give out epic dark summons at best, this seems like a bit of a rip-off taking into account the basically mandatory extreme ep requirement for any team that can beat it (4AA+s and one of the boss progs which are soo expensive since you can only get them from dark traps, which are not obtainable without p­ay­ing)

... and even if you do pay, chances are you won't get any. I've covered 3500 floors so far, which means hundreds of cocoons, and not once did I get the pop-up telling me I missed out on an exorcist.

Ateam over compensated for weak death summoner in the past. I guess they got piss-off that people are blowing off their boss beater as it was not required. A half way decent team with good agility was slaughtering previous death summoners. This one not only have the highest bp AA+ maxed team but the team stat is boosted beyond their normal value by ~50% hence they are super fast. They hit extremely hard and have massive hp. The banished dragon on that team has slightly over 20k hp alone. It is possible to beat him without a boss beater but its really hard (been confirmed by myself and several clan mates). Require maxed skill AA+s and the right combination of them. They drops though are pathetic compare to what's require to kill him. 10k gold drops way too often!!!
