Help with Covert Crawler A+ Team

So right now I have

Berserker Mite+ Psycho Down (1)

Demon Bait Insect+ Agility Up (2)

Blood-Suck Rampage Fly+ Increase Dodge Rate (1)

Hell Scythe Mantis+ Decrease Enemy Defense (3)



Question is what should I try to get as my #5?

Jade Rhino Beetle Increase Party Defense

Hell Hammer Spider Decrease Enemy Attack

Parasitic Centipede Increase Party Attack

Lightning Bug Increase Dodge Rate

I would suggest replacing your blood suck rampage fly with a lightning bug (because they have overlapping skills, AND the lightning bug is significantly stronger), and adding the parasitic centipede, because currently your team needs some more offensive power, and IPA is just that.

This would make your team look like this;
Berserker Mite+ (pDown)
Demon Bait+ (Agi)
LBug+ (Dodge)
Parasitic+ (IPA)
Hell Scythe+ (DED)

which gives you Agi, & IPA/DED which should give your creepy crawlies formidable offensive capability. The dodge and pdown are just icing on the cake.

i would suggest throwing that team in the trash and making a winged wyrm team... its alot stronger

yes, i agree with larry, if you're going for a covert crawler team,take out the rampage fly, put in the lightning bug, and put in the centipede. also, to add a little bit more, set your formation with lightning bug as the leader. this will maximize your health, so when maxed your team won't be as easy to kill as it could be. but honestly, i'd do like Thaduke and go with winged wyrm instead, covert winged wyrms are no joke, and they have lindwurm for agility.

wyrms > crawlers by a very wide margin.

but don't feel pressured to play a certain way just because it's numerically superior, This is a game and all, not a part time actuarial position

It's perfectly fine to use "non-optimal" non-cookiecutter builds! I do it too. Just make sure that your own special little formation is somewhat effective! I.E. a blood blob/ghw/scaled chimera/Sbw/Hell Scythe team would be unique, and would also be hilariously ineffective!

you might as well replace hell scythe with crimson beetle knight while you're at it. The price of that will drop a ton after the event.

For some reason i like crawler formations... I think is good to try some different combinations other than the standard formations.
