War of Legions: ANOTHER new game?

Geez, A-Team is really laying on the new games following their blatant destruction of the DS Trade System, aren't they? New game has already been released and wow does it sound like a desperate attempt at more $$$. 
War of Legions: "Battle for Glory in International Guild Battles" - thus implying that DS wasn't already international? Or if it actually means people will be segregated into country-oriented guilds; then the minority absolutely isn't going to get crushed. Whichever way you interpret it, sounds like a gimmick. 
Same exercise, pre-register to get your crappy 20BP AA that cannot be traded as of yet. Except this time she has big ( . ) ( . ) which may or may not appeal to you. 
Same old deal, A-Team.
Opinions? Beside the predictable "This will be a flop?"

If they are making it more of a PvP/clan wars based game it may find a player base outside DS. Not sure why they are in such a rush to release another game.

I don't think we'll be able to trade that AA ever.   But she does appeal to me :-D  - Don't look at me like you are better than me.   You guys just don't want to admit it.

Anyway, back to games.  I believe DR is not completed yet so I am still in wait and see mode. If things don't improve in next few months for DR then it is going to be a flop.   I will also try out WoL and see how it is.  I am sure WoL is going to be suck for first few months.

I guess Ateam is trying to throw stuffs on wall and see what stick.  They might get lucky and make a really good new game.

I probably won't play it mainly because I got my hands full with DS & Rebirth. Besides, it is not a DS-based game. I preregistered & will download it to get my DS freebie & check it out a bit. But I think I will pass on it due to no time for it.

i have a little more hope for this than Dark Rebirth.
It strikes me as a little more interesting, in part because it's *not* based on Dark Summoner. I won't feel like I'm starting over, or getting a bunch of crummy monsters... hopefully they will all be "fresh, new faces".

Of course they're going to try and get DS players to sign up, but I personally don't think its release has much to do with DS or DR current state.

I'll definitely give it a try, but if I think it sucks, then I think it sucks.

 I agree.  DR is boring to me because it's just a reboot of DS.  This game might actually be fun.  I'll download it.

From the sounds of it, it is basically modelled after Clan Wars featuring daily real-time guild battles with chain attacks like Clan Wars' chain attacks. I didn't care for Clan Wars due to the scheduled battle times (inconvenient for me). Another reason I will pass on War of Legions.

Found some more details. Form guilds with 10 of your friends. And get this: it has chat! Real actual chat. That's what DS and Rebirth need.

Reign of Summoners is a version of this that's already out.  I'm going to try to get people to tank this game also with 1 star reviews.  Hopefully 2 tanked games and A team listens.  I doubt they will, but F A team.

Let people rate the game as they truly believe. You shouldn't coerce ratings. Just release your rage. Don't let it take over you. You are totally allowed to protest the DS changes but, at the same time, you should try to enjoy what the game has become. Life gives u lemons, make lemonade.

I know someone playing the beta on the Canadian servers.  From what I here it sounds good.  You have a monster and a warrior that you match up to fight together.  2 Guilds, Chaos and Orders.  With three Species so far. Water, Fire, and Earth.  Each is strong against 1 and weak against another.  I'll be trying this game when it starts.

I will give the new game 1 star if it is a junk game, but if it is actually fun and not just a slow, data hungry version of DS I'll definitely give it an better score. 

IMO, Rebirth earned its low rating for more than just the DS changes, it was also a poorly implemented game overall, and way too much like DS to even be necessary.

I just started playing it, and I don't think it's that bad! I'm actually going to play this one for a while, I think. I'm still getting used to the interface, of course, but I'm not turned off in 2 seconds like I was with Dark Rebirth. It feels more like a completely different game... you can see some similarities, but there also seem to be some improvements over the DS interface.

I just started playing it, and I don't think it's that bad! I'm actually going to play this one for a while, I think. I'm still getting used to the interface, of course, but I'm not turned off in 2 seconds like I was with Dark Rebirth. It feels more like a completely different game... you can see some similarities, but there also seem to be some improvements over the DS interface.

I agree.  I was impressed right away.  It's hard to believe this is by the same company that brought us DR.  Still needs trading, but most of the other pieces of DS are there, even Raid lords.  My only complaints are that the iPad graphics are pretty poor (just scaled up versions of the phone-sized ones) and that it seems even more high-maintenance than DS.  Oh, and that it's difficult to figure out exactly how the battle system works or what affinity is...  But I'll play it for a while.

 I have played on ipad and speed it not bad at all.  It is good idea to make the game fast.  I was turn off by the slowness of DR, so I would rather wait then get the slow game.  Once android version is working we should start ds-forum clan.

It's great thus far. The intro video is awesome as well (which I'll add to the bottom of this post). I like it a lot better then DS actually which is surprising and not at the same time. If DS had a decent trade system rather then a destroyed one I might consider it around equal.

The combat system is unique in that each monster is paired up with a human/humanoid counterpart. So you have five monsters and five humanoids fighting at the same time. The humanoids/humans are unique because they are the only ones with skills (monsters don't have any) and they belong to one of two factions. Monsters are unique because...well I'm not sure but they appear to be the "frontline" cards, they belong to one of three elements, and none of them have skills.

The clan battling is fun as well and actually in real-time.

All they need to do is add a good trade system and offer a clear explanation of the combat system and it's the best card game on the market for me by far. They're also offering a lot of free premium summon material for the launch (I've must of had at least 30 free premium summons thus far and even got the highest rarity possible out of one).
