Upgrading Skills?

I heard we will be able to update skills soon -.-.. Do you guys think it still needs to be the same monster with the same skill? Or could an A+ monster with x skill have their skill upgraded with a B/B+ with skill?

The way I understood it, B/B+ should work. Keep in mind some monsters don't have a skill at rank A. It wouldn't make sense to require you to evolve some of them to A+ just for it to gain a skill so you can level up the skill on another one.

Is it working now?

I've tried it with a preemptive strike and I didn't see any change to mention I leveled the skill up. I don't want to spend my skill mosters that I collected!

You can use B's for sure. I've got Increase party attack (3) and slumbering breath (3) so far. Party attack gives +7 attack instead of +5. Slumbering breath 3 doesn't seem to do.. anything different. Maybe it resists less or lasts longer. So much for hoping they would somehow break it and have it hit the entire other party XD! stupid witch of snakes, why your stats so decent but skill so bad??!

What BS! just sacced 5 Crit up monsters to my NWD+ and got no level up on skill!!!!

Has anyone gotten a skill level up on a level max monster? Maybe they decreased the chance for that?

I got a skillup on a maxed out creep lord+

I am very disappointed with the very small benefit (actually 1%) of leveling, I was confidant It could do nasty things but considering that past lvl 6 it is very difficult to lvl up and that it will never counterbalance the huge benefit of for exemple species combo, I think species guild parties such as demon impulse stays at the top.

I just got a skill up on my maxed out sphinx+ and my chimera max+.. Can we upgrade it to 3? Or is (2) maximum?

Yes You can upgrade more but the difficulty increases after each lvl up, 1% is very low though

Some skills has more fail rate than other skills.

For example, i enchanted "Slumbering Breath" of my witch+ up to 6 without fails.

And i wanna enchant "Increase Party Defense" of my faith+ and failed 2 times at 3.

Same with my "Preventive Strike" of my djinn+, i'm trying to enchant it but fails 2 times...

Maybe the good skills has lower rate than other skills....

3/3 on the increase party attack of my Fairy

Anyone know if mutation is possible on a skill up sac since it is sacrificing one and it's not an evolution?

Is here somebody who have made experiance with skill lvl-up by using skilled monsters for sacrifice?

example: Monster A (Skill V) - skill power up with another Monster B (Skill III) or something like that

because in the news they wrote that you might have a better chance for lvl up when using other monsters with high skills....

i made only one try with a lvl II skilled b that i sacrificed with a lvl V skilled mob - and it was only a "power up"

I've tried that too, with the same result.

I don't know what probabilities they set, but look at this simple example:

assumptions:
using a skill level 1 has a 10% rate of success
using a skill level 2 has a 20% rate of success

probabilities of getting two fails with two level 1's: 90%*90% = 81%

so basically using two level 1's, your failure rate is just 1% higher than making them a single level 2, but at the same time you do get a 1% chance of getting two skill level ups. Conclusion - basically the same.

If A-team is stingy with their probabilities and a level 2 is not at least twice as high as a level 1, then using multiple level 1's will clearly be better than using level 2's.

Anyone get Slumbering Breath or Venomous Breath past level 5? I had 6 fails in a row trying to upgrade my Witch+. Fuck you ATeam

Same issue, Dan - have a Witch+ sitting on chill at level 5 skill. Haven't be able to get her past level 5 and gave up hope.

Maybe some of the battle skills—Slumbering Breath, Preemptive Strike, Venomous Breath—determine how many times it is used in battle? Since there are a max of five rounds of battle, maybe the skill level for those maxes at 5. The other stat skills would intuitively go higher. Would have been nice if ATeam gave SOME sort of indication that the skill had reached its max.

Are you leveling the witch up for amusement? I got mine to skill level 3 and then thought to myself that it was a waste of time since I have my battle tactic set to lowest hp... even if higher level makes them sleep longer it doesn't matter since they get hit right away anyways : \

At least for pre-empt. It doesn't get use multiple times per battle. Seems to be the higher lv pre-empt gets to go first. My Djinn is at lv5 and he has gone first in every battle so far but only in the first round.

venomeus breath would definitifly go higher than lvl V, have my beelze on lvl VI right now
