Battles - Level Limit

Hey all, I have a quick question regarding battles and level limits.

Recently I have been attacked by lower levels (about 20+ levels below me). However, for some reason I cannot attack them back as there is a "level limit". Some of these guys have really strong teams, win and farm me for a few days until I continuously bank and give them nothing.

I can't seem to find any official numbers on what the level limits are and how they apply? Does anyone know what the level limits are? I am guessing there is a level limit on attacking players below your level but not for those above your level?

you cant atk people more than 10 lv below
and unlimit when you atk people with high lv than yours

applys for lvl80 and under, a lvl 140 can atk a lvl 100, but yea lower lvl can always atk higher lvl though
