Soul of Skills - Question

apperently it's been back on fourth on people saying it can level, hellblaze/CL/Tempest and other people saying they tried and get prompted with a warning message that says this will not work do you want to continue.

Can anyone confirm or deny this etc with pics?

I hope it's true. If the skill souls work with those skills, it's game over...

Has anyone researched the next most expensive skill to level-up?

What I mean by expensive is that you have to resort to sac'ing a card that has some value (3ep) or more to increase the skill level.

Taking the above metioned skills out of the equation (Tempest, CL, Hellblaze) I want to be able to make the most use out of these Skill up cards.

Yes, you can. I have an ally who now has a moonsea+Max with CL(20) he was buying our souls from as as fast as we could get to the required floors

I would tend to believe that guy who posted that he actually tried it, and it didn't work, rather than believe someone who's making inferences based on someone who's been buying them.

How am i making an inference? When i asked what he was doing with them, he told me.

There were multiple reports of it not working, however, In those cases A Team was gifting the affected people soul of skills and gold to make up for it. This was an in game announcement. It has since been fixed.

It's still 3rd hand info.

And an in-game message that says "WARNING, this will NOT work with THIS skill" is hardly a bug. Most likely what got fixed was regifting the souls to idiots who didn't read the message and complained A Team didn't provide sufficient warning.

And I can give 3rd hand info too... an ally had a guy throw a fit and call him a scammer for selling him a soul+ for 80ep... I don't know the details, but I'll assume the guy discovered he paid 80ep for something that wouldn't work with his CL

please link us all to a screen shot of said error message. I have already provided the username of someone who has done it.

There was a lot of players saying that it wasn't working, then A team released a notification saying that they had fixed the problem. It's working on those skills.

Ah, so I need to provide a screenshot, and you need to say you heard some guy did it. Seems fair.

But go ask Cathias... he's the one who posted about the in-game warning message.

Im not going to argue this further. You can look on my wall or his and see the conversation.

FACTS: It did fail skilling up for multiple people. A TEAM addressed issue. It now works to do so.

FACT: A Team said nothing about the failure being related to CL
FACT: Bugs do not announce themselves via a warning message
FACT: I'm glad you won't be arguing any further

if i knew how to take a screen shot i would. i tried it with soul of skills reg and + and got the warning message both times when trying to level up my CL

I've seen multiple reports of it working and not working with CL.
One person that I know did a test. Tried the Soul of Skills on 2 A monsters. It worked on one, but not the other. Tried it on a Thunder Spirit.. it worked.
So something is messed up (and it hasn't been fixed). But I believe that its supposed to work on all skills.

Wow, I saw the arctic tempest (20) too. That's got to hurt. Question is, will this remain unfixed? I'd hate to fight teams like that.

I got it to work with CL now, CL has to at least be at skill level 2 before using a SoS
