Which crystal is better to farm 1st or 2nd or doesn't matter?

it's 2nd because the rate receive the dark lord (which is useless) is lower than the 1st

In terms of selling...I dont plan on using them at this time

Yes also the 2nd gives more gold per mission and monsters are worth more when selling them....but the appearance is fungus is less than the flowers so it will take longer to get say 50 crystals than it will with the first lords crystals....so it depends on whether you want the crystals fast and not worried about gold or you woundnt mind the long journey to the crystals and would like the gold along the way.

My testing is hardly complete, but last 100 lvl 2 gems I sac-ed leads me to believe the breakdown of results are thus: 55% B-Summon, 35% 10K Gold, 10% Lord of Void. Now these are simply odds, just like flipping a coin 100 times doesn't always yield 50-50, your results may vary slightly from this.

Don't know the lvl 1 gem rate, because as other pointed out you get more gold per energy spend on missions 3 and 4 than just about all other missions and the BP of the creatures is higher (3 and 4) then Missions 1 and 2 (1 and 2bp).

Still some people find it easier to do the first 2 missions instead, but to me that is a waste if you are gem-mining for gold/summons.

Does anyone know the appearance rate of flower vs fungus? I am farming for ep so I am in a quantity over quality position.

I haven't track them carefully but on casual farming they seem equal to me. I farm void far more than massacre though.
