question regarding skill change spirits

Just curious, I see quite a few people selling spirits where the skill is leveled on the spirit itself, is there some sort of benefit for this? for instace i saw a lower attack spirit with dea at skill 5 on it

I honestly wouldn't waste time on that, but my guess is that the player meant to use it as a stack to level a monster that already has dea instead of changing another monster to dea. it's only a guess, but that's the only reason that is even remotely "good" that i can think of why anybody would do that.

wow thats truly a waste of a spirit if thats the case. i was wondering if say dea was at 5, and you used that spirit to change a monsters skill to dea if it would put it at 5 for that new monster. other than that, seems a complete waste

Given the way skill up works, particularly when evolving monsters, I doubt a skill change spirit with skill 5 will set your skill to 5. Btw, use the bb code img tag, not the html img tag to make images visible, particularly if they are from the game's resources @ darksummoner.com
