For those who love their EP, here are 80 BP max teams

I've always wanted to know what team would be the best using the starting maximum of 80 BP. So after studying up on the wiki, I've compiled teams which hit the 80 BP mark or go barely under, yet use the most effective skills available. Oddly enough, all of them have an agility skill. I have not included the bonuses in the totals, mainly because I can't be bothered right now, and they all use the same combos: Rarity, Guild, Species and Level. Then there's the leader bonus which gets double stats, so not doing it just for simplicity's sake.

Covert Teams

First team on the line-up is fairly easy to assemble. The most difficult part of this team would be levelling the Health Up skill on Gusion. Other than that, most are easy to obtain with a total point value of 78616.

Covert Crawler

This is the team with the highest amount of HP, but the lowest attack and defence on our list. Again, a very easy team to assemble. You should be able to get all of these with basic summons. With a complete omni skill layout, it's a good start with a total point value of 79050.

Covert Wyrm teams are fairly popular, but this team might be a bit tougher to obtain with the Spore Dragon and Dragon of Jupiter being event monsters. Still, they're around and should be cheap to pick up. This team has a total point value of 78632.

This is the team with the highest defence on our list. This is also a tough one to gather, with Inos and Iris being event monsters along with the WWSP being somewhat rare. However, there are a lot of substitute monsters you can use in this formation, but the maximum BP of the team goes down and the strength of the team with it. Still, it's worth it for the high defence. The total point value of this team is 78504.

This is the team takes the top spot for both attack and total point value with 79130, but has the lowest HP. Again, we have the full omni skill team, but if you were looking for extra HP, you can use a Fortress Engine with 15 BP and the Health Up skill to replace the Sky Savior Colossus or Seeker Quadriga. All three 15 BP monsters have the same total stats, so the total point value won't be affected. Fairly easy to obtain this team, as most can be summoned with regular summons. The Time Void Golem may be harder to obtain, mostly because I've only ever summoned it with a Dark Summon. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The only Sin team on the list. This team has the most balanced stats across the board, but comes with the lowest total point value of 78242. A somewhat hard team to assemble, with the Serpent Demon being an anniversary monster and Devil of Endless Night from Dark Summons only (correct me if I'm wrong). I have also never seen a Firebrand Demon, if someone knows, please post below. Other than that, it again has the omni skill layout which is good for any situation.

So they're all the teams I could come up with. Hopefully someone gets some use out of it. If you have any ideas of your own, please post them below.

Why are you only looking at As? There are cheap, low BP AA teams you could assemble with much better stats than these.

Devil of Endless night is not summonable all the time. Just during these revision summon events.

Firebrand demon was given to players but i don't remember why. He is seriously weak :O

I am working on a low BP aa+ form I should be able to get well over 200K total stats at 100bp. ( Yes I know the exercise is 80bp, I think I can still get double the A+ forms at 80bp)
I do need a skill change or two still to complete.Right now I have DED (20), DEA(20), IPA(20), Healthup(7) I need a 5th psycho around 20-24 BP with DED or IPD to complete.

Not only that, they're much easier to obtain than AA monsters and don't take as long to level up. You could use skill spirits, but the point of these teams is to show what can readily be made and still be competitive.

~80bp A teams are not competetive.

quite a few of these forms include event limited monsters which although are not extremely valuable/expensive, some like rocs, weaver of abyss creep (late raid boss), iris, firebrand, endless, serpent are simply not readily available.


It's somewhat sad to say; but the time for <100bp (arguably <120/130) A forms is over. The recent influx of skilled and accessible AAs made sure of that.

They weren't great in the first place, but lowbp A teams were viable (covert crawlers, sub-optimal sin demons, psy winged brutes), but with the recent crash of practically everything in the A market; lowbp A teams are no longer cost effective. If you want an A team, go for one of the "Standardized" ones like covert beasts/wyrms, or psycho demons/brutes; one of the higher bp ones; because THOSE can be competitive against <100bp AA teams; and lowbp 'el cheapo' AA forms are becoming more and more common; cheap AAs are the new As.

THEN:
low bp A teams, high bp A teams, AA team average, optimal AA team

NOW:
high bp A teams, cheap AA team, AA team average, optimal AA team (definitions of AA team average now are more in line with optimal in the past, and optimal now is beyone optimal in the past: due to the steady release of stronger and stronger monsters, and their availability making possible new combos as species/guild gaps became filled by new releases; i.e. infinity wings made possible a 5x psycho winged brute AA combo WITH health [statistically the BEST team in the game after a few skill changes; has health, has 5 combo {the only winged species guild AA combo with health}, all monsters 30+bp 'no weak link/liability members']).
