Honestly, I was looking forward to a Tower event. I've been hoarding EP for the chance to rank now for months. I have heard that besides Dragon Wall events, these are the easiest to rank in. We'll see.

However, the Reward Psycho Brute with HP up looks pretty sweet.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming event?

There are progs, we will find out when the event starts.

It's probably different for people trying to rank, but last "choose your path" event, the prog seemed useless for me.

I hit only 2 of the "ultimate summoner" or whatever boss you actually need the prog for. Maybe it's because I only did like 4 laps?

If I recall correctly from the last paths event the prog decreased the ultimate bosses stats by a %. When you kill one of the ultimate surrender bosses you complete the set you are currently working on.

Dose anyone have any date from the last paths event? Curious to see how many sets got you rank 500.

The stats from last event aren't relevant. In that event, you got a summons for completing a set; this time you get potions, meaning progress will be way, way cheaper.

Well 200 sets nets a GES so... I can see the appeal there. BAH wonder how much that will cost to complete...

Sin gets a slightly better "mech zombie" while covert n psycho get new hp up monsters to play with...thats totally fair

Psycho already has a health up brute, and by the looks of it, this new one isn't winged, so help me understand why I've earned your envy.

but there are only 4 psycho winged brute out there : crimson, gala, tlon, ast
so winged or not winged not affect much, until 5th released

beside that, 30BP compare to 41BP is totally different

Covert health up demon...making a demon AA+ team a real... yeah, no, not really that great an option still..

Creation, Demon, Psycho, Impulse, and oh yeah Psycho...Downs. One 13bp DEA and Dodge. Totally viable team now with this new guy.

If it is winged, maybe one could make a 4x combo by adding it to the Winged Wyrm AA+ team... could be one use.

My point was, if it was winged, it'd be a good upgrade over crimson.
Unless your goal is to build a team of female psycho brutes with an unviable skill mix, I don't see what good this event award is.

u can build a fine brute team with useful skills

Are you talking an AA team, or a hybrid like yours? Not sure where you're going with this, but given that 3 of the 5 non-winged psycho brute AAs have DEA, and one has a species down that isn't going to get invoked much, I don't see a fine team here.

AA, demons are one of the most run teams in game, demon down gets "invoked" often. others u have dea, ipa, u can get a covert down, then finish it with hp up. thats a fairly decent, even if not best, AA/+ team. and when i say brute team, its not like winged brutes are off limits in a non-winged brute team. and frankly, with ded spirit running at less than 150, one can buy it(if u can afford 5 good AA+, u can afford 150 for spirit) u can skill change the covert or demon down for ded.

Look, i used to use brutes as one of my formations, so i can tell you first-hand that it sucked compared to the winged combo team i switched to.

So, I changed the title of the thread as I just realized this is not a "Stalactite Event"

These "Fortune Cards" are surprisingly unique. I'm surprised at this event, may not be a complete re-use after all.

I love the Fortune Card mini-game! Makes me miss Concentration login game.

It is like infinitely more difficult than concentration.

Also: with defense formations, I wonder if it's safe to run a 33BP attack form (rot+lotus). So far seems okay.

Edit: Scratch that, so far seems weird. Need hella refresh just to find opponents @33, but I fought one guy and saw 150BP in the upper right, and thought, oh crap. But his form was 33BP. F*k yeah! A-Team bug, fer the win!! I have no idea if he's running a 33BP main with a 150 defense form, but I fight his main (weak form) in the event battle.

Edit again: Awesome sauce! My form beats the Grand Summoner. No prog needed.

Isn't this card came a complete gamble?

The only çontrol' you have over it is that you could take another gamble if you do not like the set of cards that you get the first time. So you can pick another set of cards and then you choose one at random and that is it. Or is there more to it?
