I have been getting mugged in battle while I sleep at night so I have taken to holding my awarded gold in the gift box until it is needed or about to expire.

Should have thought of that 250,000 gold ago!

Not sure if that's a big help. Just delays it 4 days. It'd make sense if you anticipated you were about to spend it on an evo or something, but you're not ready to spend it right not. Otherwise...

Actually, Steve, I had it all worked out.

I had 250K in the gift box when I posted and was 2 battles away from the 300K award for 100 battles.

Result was Gulph was evolved and I wasn't mugged.
