I'd just like to address something real quick

1. please enter values between 1 and 2... the only valid values which come out of the formation grade calculation are: 1(5A), 1.2(AA/4A), 1.4(2AA/3A), 1.6(3AA/2A), 1.8(4AA/A), 2(5AA)

a formation grade of '5' is not only invalid, it doesn't make sense

2. I neglected to remember Bs. Thank you for the note. If anybody else is using some manner of 'nonstandard' formation like Bs, leaving a note like that would be greatly appreciated (rather than trying to make up your own grading system like Bs .5 Cs 0 etc...)

1&2: in circumstances of 'irregular' data such as described above, the entries will simply be declared to be the average of entries up to that point

3. please enter the integer value by itself as an integer. no "ten", no "~10", "10" will do just fine! I know I didn't clarify, and it really isn't a huge inconvenience, but nonstring entries would be appreciated for all fields when possible (exception described in 2).

results have been demarcated into three handy categories;
Tier 1: scores beneath the first quartile "below average"
Tier 2: scores between the first and third quartile "average"
Tier 3: scores above the third quartile "above average"

due to the nature of formation grade data, the standard quartile system for denoting tiers will not work, thus this improvised version has been implemented

Thanks for all the numbers, nothing like hot stove ds. I switch back and forth between 3AA/2a and 4Aa/1A thus the 1.7 right now it's 1.8 if you prefer.

I would suggest going with the score of the formation you use more often. e.g. the form in my sig is the one I have up most of the times; although sometimes I switch my lind for another AA+m wing wyrm (my old neptune) when I am attacking someone who doesn't have agi... I would consider and declare my formation score 1.6 since I usually have 3 AAs up rather than 4.
