Why does he need noticeable wings? I understand the wing part... but noticeable?

Noticeable as in you are 100% sure it has wings. If it does I'll add it to my formation but if it doesn't I can't because I need winged monsters combo

What you should be asking is whether lord of deception qualifies as a 'winged monster' and this contributes to the 'winged monster combo'
You should ask nicely in the chat room and somebody can test it out for you using 4 known winged monsters (scorn cruel ww monsters) and deception.
