Stacked skill success rate

Is saccing a skill lvl 4 mob a guranteed skillup even from 19-20? I Had somehow thought it was lvl 5 and now have like 20 various skill5 monsters from the last event :/ most of which were 2-3 extra sacs to get from 4 to 5

No it's not for sure but the chances are extremely high. With my Cthulu+, I used Impulse stacks from (7) all the way up to (20) and I only failed a stack twice.

personally, i've never yet failed to skill up by sacrificing a skill 5, even on a monster that's already maxed, lol, but i admit that i have not personally tried sacrificing to a monster with a skill higher than 9, lol.

A skill stack of 4 has a 15-20% failure at all level from personal experience of leveling several skill maxed monsters with them.

What do you do from skill 1 to 7?
Personnaly I used to sac 1 until skill 7, but now the failure are much more then before. I am doing 1 to 3 with sac of skill 1, then from 4 to 6 I sac a skill 2.

I do 1 from 1-4.
3 to 5 or 6.
and 4 the rest of the way.
