What Skills to run with my winged brutes

I'm going to run psycho, winged brutes, AA+.  I have the following skill sets to choose from and I'm looking for some opinions on which five skill sets to run.  This isn't about the optimum skills in theory land, but what 5 are the best from what I have already.

Health Up                    (30 bps)
DED                            (35 bps)
DEA                            (16 bps)
Party Health Plus           (22 bps)
Critical                        (19 bps)
Party Attack Plus          (22 bps)
Preemptive Strike          (35 bps)

My thoughts are running Health Up, DED, DEA, Party Attack Plus, and Preemptive Strike.

that sounds good, although i would save up for ipa to change the preemp

Is critical better than running Preemptive?

critical is better than preemp, but 19bp critical is not better than 35bp preemp. u really wouldn't even notice the critical or preemp. they could be skill 1 and be just as noticable

Since you're planning on using PaP skill then try adding IPA as a skill, attack up is essential in all formations. Your choice of skills is fine. I like critical, a chance skill and when it does hit and critical works it's lol

um.. can you say what the monsters are specifically?

I can guess what some of them are based on skill and bp; like that 30bp/Health one is probably crimson dragonoid

35bp/ded is zera

16bp/dea is the referral one

What is the 35bp Preemptive one? a skillchanged tlon?

for the others?

none of these are worth using, especially because they have poor skills

<30 bp monsters aren't taken seriously and can barely take a hit or do any damage to average ~30bp AA monsters! Unless one has a skill which is critically important like health up and is a species match (like if you're doing covert mystics it makes sense to use turvain even though he's only 25bp)

It'd be easier to help you out if you say what the monsters on your list are so suggestions don't invalidate combo because of duplicates

Byce, rekt, I disagree with critical being better than preemptive. Crit(20) barely brings your crit rate from 5% to 7%, not an especially big change. Preemptive(20), on the other hand, allows you to hit first on attack, guaranteed, with the monster that has it and even attack first on defense(unless your opponent has a preemptive(20) too), in the all important 1st round. This works even if your opponent has AAA+ with agi(20). While there are better skills to use in place of preemptive(ipa, ipd, dea, ded, health), it's still far better than a measly 2% increase to your crit rate, imo.

Tlon - preempt - 35 bp
Crimson Dragonoid - health - 30 bp
Duriel - PAP - 22 bp
Cylia - DEA  - 16 bp
Zera - DED - 35 bp

Given that skill spirits will never be cheaper, buy them now instead of using 2nd and 3rd tier skills.

He might not have 400 for a soltan or a nagi. But it's not that hard to scrape together however low an ipa and/or ipd are going for these days.

Well, tbh, I don't have many eps atm.  Still sorting through how the best way to make them.  I can't say that I've ever received an AA or AA+ from any summon or dark summon.  Can't seem to get a card that I can off for a significant amount of ep.

Anyways, I thought it would be beneficial to have a lower bp AA+ team with 5 bonuses, because it would cost me 40-50 bp's less per fight.  Is there any value to that way of thinking.

 There certainly is.

particularly because you are looking at winged brutes which are one of two formations which perfectly hybrid with agi which is handy against new AAAs, as well as McFly at a considerably lower bp total than other species

You should run;

Dragonoid, Zera, Cylia, Tlon (skill change), pick up a gala (skillchange as well, they're pretty cheap.)

You can swap Cylia out for a WWE when you're fighting McFly or AAAs, otherwise skillchange Tlon and Gala, or rather save up for higher BP monsters that have or you want to put IPD and IPA on, oh and replace Cylia asap.

<30bp monsters are at a serious disadvantage in combat due to the way defense/attack interacts, <20bp are practically useless except for skill, so as soon as you get something better that has DEA or that you can put DEA on; cylia should go.
