Stuck in a data center today with no wifi (HOW? WHY? AAAGH!) so doing a bit of research vs the mad tap-fest of the "Ill Peak".

I had a Hybrid winged wyrm team for some time and it worked fantastic. Wingarm, Terra, Demo, Lind, Mesh = winsauce vs any A+ team out there. I knew I would need to shell out huge EP in order to get the upgrades for a fleshed out winged wyrm AA+ team, so I decided to bail.

I was able to get the following team together, and it looks pretty saucy:
Wingarm+ (DED)
Death Blade+ (DEA)
Turvain+ (Health)
Crimson Rupture+ (IPD)
Leech+ (IPA)

Overall Stats: 81k / 70k / 92k (Attack / Def / HP) and 144bp. I have not seen stats after all the bonuses are applied, I know folks who were working on the bestiary/etc are overwhelmed by all the new monsters, but the stats listed can only go UP which makes me happy.

I've been running DED(20) and DEA(17) for awhile, and I just finished getting SOS+ from this event so Health is at (18). I plan to work on the other 2 skills but... upgrades are out there.

So I am looking at a fork in the road. The current mix is a mess of species, no two of the same so that eliminates any effects of Demon/Beast Down etc, but Covert Down would still hurt. Should I bother looking into a single species team, namely Mystics since Turvain has health?

Mystics would be... Dru, Kyushi, Olu, Necrotic, Borabant, and the new Poseidon as choices. Best skills in that group are IPD and DEA, Brute- is useful as well.

Or I can go this other path, and just upgrade each member of the team as I can. I see the need to replace Leech+ (25bp) and DBE+ (28bp) first, since they are the lowest BP and have 'affordable' upgrades. Getting an Inshipit+ is doable at my current EP level (and having GES), then I can work on something like Rhea+ or any other higher BP monster with DEA. Basically everything I have in my team has a better counterpart, but for a lvl 80 player I think this team would more than suffice, and should last me for quite awhile.

So, what sort of suggestions do you higher level folks have? I am well versed in the A+ game but I don't know enough about the AA+ game to venture out blindly and wonder why some teams stomp me. What I've built seems to have a strong skillset, and that seems like a good foundation to start.... Health+ is the AGI+ for AA players?

I'm in a similar position to you (can't afford a 4x Combo AA+ team). The team that I had been using for defense for a while is as follows:

Centaur of Divinity (Psy Down)
Odin (Imp Down)
Hellish Hazling (Crit)
Death Blade (DEA)
Dru (IPD)

ATK: 76979 --- DEF: 71634 --- HP: 94630 --- BP: 146

I had not been able to afford a Health Up monster (Continent Devourer and Felmarez are just slightly expensive). I have now leveled Turvain, but need to level its skill before I can use it. Replacing Hellish gives this form:

Centaur of Divinity (Psy Down)
Odin (Imp Down)
Turvain (Health)
Death Blade (DEA)
Dru (IPD)

ATK: 73216 --- DEF: 72382 --- HP: 93371 --- BP: 138

So it certainly takes a little bit of a hit on ATK, but the Health Up is quite an improvement. With both enemy guild down, IPA, DEA, and Health, this team can handle most of the people who would attack me. I only use it for defense (I still use the old 97 BP 60k ATK 5x Winged Wyrm team for attack). I like the skill set so much that I will most likely keep it and just replace members with upgrades on the same skills. The elite 4x combo teams are just too pricy, and this team works out quite well for me.

I think it matters more if you'll be battling a lot and trying to rank (and once ranked then defending a lot), otherwise the stats matter more than skills and such. The skills really start to come into play more if you're battling often. I've got a DBE+m(20) to unload if either of you need it though Wink

So I've done some updates:

Inshipit+m(20)
Starved Earth Dragon+m(20) DEA
Turvain+m(20)
Crimson Rupture+m(20)
Wingarm+m(20)

So that covers all the main 5 skills. Overall fun, but the 3x combo seems like it is limiting.

Before I dismantle my team and sell it off, I wanted to see if anyone has done a 4x Covert Mystic team and how well it fares in the game.

I've got Turvain for health, Dru is pretty cheap...but those 2 worry me since they are such lightweights. I mean, 2x 25bp in any team seems like a soft spot on attack and defense.

Mystics in general seem like they have some heavy hitters, but I'm limiting myself to one species. So there are always downsides. Only Brute and Demon down, vs staying mixed species and grabbing a cheap Odin for Impulse Down (for example).

So I'm wondering overall if going from mixed species to a 4x Mystic team will be a good idea, or if staying mixed will benefit me more since I can swap in upgrades. I have noticed that a team with a species, say Sin Undead for example, will kill my team when I attack. I can probably counter this by swapping in a guild down but is that extra +15% on attack and defense a big enough reason to chuck my team and swap?
