What to do about the current market?

I have not sold a single AA for days lol. I always try price my stuff cheap,
if I see a cheaper one on leaderboards, I match it or price lower but nobody is buying
and the people who are interested either don't have the ep or give me trade offers
not even anywhere close.

Im considering going really cheap like half the price etc, but I would be losing a lot
however since every other AA price is going down a lot would this be worth it?

Also it seems A's are selling a lot better than AA, maybe because new players with
a few ep are easier customers then experienced players looking for AA's.

Thoughts?

Seriously, Fire&Ice is 1e now!? I just paid 2 yesterday. At least I'm planning on using it. Reselling cards for profit worked for me pretty well up until Vagrant (and I only joined in November!). I can't do it now.

Ye its crazy lol. But I used to do really well making ep out of buying low and selling at average price but I think now with the auction changes, and the shortage of ep, and for some reason people are just looking for reallly, really low prices I can't sell any AA's at all. Even trades is hard because others just want ep...

They nvr took the time to understand the ingame market. focused instead on constantly increasing the $$market. Now the game is completely flooded with cards that are too "valuable" to vendor or sac. Unless they find a way to take cards out of the market (increased "sell" values, do it!) it will continue to get worse.

This is the time when all the players who dont spend money can laugh at the ones who do. They bought so much junk that now nothing has value. The market for quality cards is almost so secluded that only those with expensive cards can afford expensive cards.

Seriously tho. Is there any possible way out other than either
A) put a buyback option for multiples of their bp cost so people get rid of the cards themselves or
B)DSII, the battle continues (extra funny cuz they put ZERO effort to a back story to the game or cards)

yesterday buy ash at 200 and sell for 285
today trade silver frost (invite A+) and demon hand (invite A) for klamut max

When I read about some of the deals you people are able to make, I wish I knew where the f you're able find these rubes.

Seriously...I think I'm just sleeping vs staying up and hitting the market. I spent 4 days trying to sell a skill reset book, and once I mentioned it to a clan-mate he sold it in hours....since he was up waaaay later than I ever am.

Still doesn't help the jealousy of seeing these great deals LOL

I put Silver Frost and Demon hand on my WL, and dream for someone buy it with 60EP total. Then a dude offered me klamut maxed for them. I thought "wtf this guy must be kidding me" and then wrote on his wall "No tks !!!"
then he offered his klamut for Frost and Mei, i thought he still kidding me but this time I traded with him. And when I saw klamut in gift box I wft again.
Then he told me he will change Mei for Demon hand if I change my mind, I wtf and made a quickest trade in my life with him

On a similar topic, I had the best deals when I spam other people's pages since if on leaderboards, someone else would always be selling cheaper then you and people know their stuff.

So yeah, lol the people who don't know about leaderboards pay insance amounts for not so rare cards, it's kinda sad really that we exploit their ignorance.

It is true that it is harder to get pure EP offers especially for AA cards but accepting trades can work well. As long as the trade you get is of higher value than what you are selling then you can keep plugging away putting the improved card up for auction and eventually you will get that EP offer that will be more than you originally wanted.

When I ranked and won Liliath I asked for too much in the auction, 300EP I think, as I wasn't sure of the value. I then tried to spam the leaderboards to sell her for as low as 225. I ended up getting just card offers for her which I took. So far through selling and re-selling and with one 30EP value card still to sell I have made 571EP and 12BP!

You can definitely make money in the current economy. You just have to be careful about what you buy.

Everyone is giving hero stories, but there are some monsters that are tough to sell. For instance, I bought two Leth+ M('s and haven't been able to find homes for them. I thought I'd be able to sell them easy, but havent been able to.

So its all just a matter of timing and luck .

IMO price of monster is definitely an agreement between players, no more no less
who said that price on leaderboard can determine price of DS world ?
the board is full of high lv player, who are selling stuff cheap as dirt to make EP for event

In the auction it is all about getting your stuff seen. Because of the filters you can end up seeing rank after rank of the same cards. I still spend 100K+ whever I sell an A+ card but for AA you dont need to put more than 30K in to be seen as fewer decent cards around.

for AA+ you don't really need to spend more than 10k, lol, anyone looking for an AA+ can choose AA and guild they're interested in. or, if you want your stuff really seen, use impulse c filters, lol. i swear, there's maybe 1 or two pages of that max, lol

Ye but I especially found the low end AA's, taroth, kotone, adan, nyar, dbe etc are hard to sell. Honestly people just keep looking for cheap since others are selling dirt cheap for regular prices and for some reason dont think its worth it to pay 75 ep for a taroth+m20

I mean really？ seeing as taroth sells for 15ep at the very cheapest, what are they expecting with these prices.

It also really depends on the time you want to invest in spamming the rank chat. I am unable to be up late with a new baby so I can only do some while at work/etc and there are barely any nibbles. Auctions are about the same, unless you are offering a steal...there's just little EP out there for spending it seems.

I've been trying to flip a Marbas+m(20) for awhile now, and the best I get are folks offering the 'former' high end A+ sin demons that are now barely worth 10ep or so. Disheartening to say the least.

I do enjoy seeing the crazed selling/auctions...folks trying to sell the 15bp AAs with "only want DoD / Cerb" etc etc...
