If you added a skill to a monster that previously had none using a Random Skill Spirit before evolving?

Yes evo will erase the skill, except for the new S rank monsters, they are the only ones to keep a skill through evolution.

Okay, I just realized something reading another post...   to be clear, I was talking about the skill itself.  not skill level.  As in will my skill be erased upon evolving when the skill I am referring to was already at level 1.  ?

If it's an S monster or an AAA monster, it will keep the skill. When you are evolving two monsters that have different skills, the game will now tell one which one you will keep. If you wanted the other one, just reverse the order.
