I know if you have the same monster in your formation, it doesn't qualify for any combos. Just wondering if someone can confirm that the grand form of the ex monsters are considered different monsters to satisfy combo requirements. If I would evolve 5 languid elith into 1 each of the 5 grand forms, that would get all the combos, right?

Of course. You get 7 combos on the winged ones.

These Ex monsters have shown me something new about the mechanics of the game as relates to combos: monsters are considered to be the same if their catalog ids are the same. Since the 5 grand monsters have different numbers, they're different monsters and therefore will activate combos. Incidentally, this also means that, despite having the same name, using a stage 1 and stage 2 and stage 3 of the same Ex monster in your form will also trigger combos. It is actually this last happening to me before that told me that same monster check is id based, lol.

*needs testing with certain teams to ensure quality. also, monster data doesn't update itself without me logging on to manually add monsters, yet, so some of the newest monsters might not be available for use right away. Missing max lvl stats WILL affect final stats, so make sure to pm me with screenshots of it whenever you want to add data.
