Phone compatibility with Dark Summoner (DS)

I'm currently running DS on a DroidX ver 2.3.4 and I'm due for a phone upgrade this month.

I was wondering if anyone is running DS on a Samsung Galaxy III?

and if anyone has had any trouble transfering his/her DS data from an older Android version to the newer ones? (Ice Cream, Jelly Bean, etc).

Please refrain from suggesting Apple products, I'm not a fruit fan. and DS doesn't support cross platform transfers.

s3 works for me, also i once transfered a account from a cheap prepaid phone running 2.2 to a kindle fire 2 runing a modded version of 4.0 and it works fine(fun note kindle doesnt have play store just the amazon store, =/ whose good idea was that?) the ds website does say it may be incompatable with some devices though, ur just moving from an older phone to s3?

Yes, that is correct. I'm upgarding my phone to something newer and the S3 is on the top of the list.

I just don't want to run into the situation of not being able to transfer the data and/or have to keep the DroidX on my plan just to play DS.

A-Team isn't very specific on what phones are supported.

you should be fine with the s3 , i havent had any problems with it at least
