Dark Stalactite?!?!?

how should i put this? i'd have to say that i understand both sides of the situation here. from a player's perspective, i'm pretty zarking upset that i didn't get the chance to really utilize the vagrant lands to get some skills and to gauge the activeness of my clan members. but, at the same time, i also recognize that when dealing with a cheap-ass company that is changing the development team every week, when trying to adapt an already written event by making changes to it, errors are very likely to occur. no matter how much vagrant lands resembles mobius ages, there are a few major differences, foremost being the addition of boss points when you defeat a boss, player rankings, and a free attack against the various bosses. i was lucky enough to be able to face 12 bosses after the first suspension and before the second, to see somewhat of what the event contains. since it is NOT an exact copy-paste of mobius ages, some errors are a given. perhaps things would have gone more smoothly if g team didn't use developers that are unfamiliar with the code but then...*shrug* money talks, justice walks, that's the way of the world.

you are entitled to your opinion and me with mine, and i am in fact a member of the Palm Heroes Dev team. and it is another phone game like HoMM. so i do know how such things work. take that as you wish, im just replying to your somment on if im allowed to comment on some thing or not.

yeah they did right by handing out items, even gifting point change items to those who had bought them. one thing i think they could have handled better is the summon rate in this event as there will be so much fewer summons, they should all be event A summons with a small chance for event AA, not small chance all around to summon anything but a B, not to mention an event monster.

also, if they were going to add awesome spirits to week rank, they should have reset honor for all. yeah a better solution would be to fix the battle honor mechanics alltogether, but on a tight and limited schedule, a simple reset would have been easy. and thereby giving all players a equal chance at the newly added weekly prizes. i am only ranked around 500, but ive battled about all the players i can above me and now can only battle players that provide little to no honor. and i shake my head at the thought of the top 50 or even 300 and thier almost neglegable chance to get these spirits.

So we looking at 150,000 drops to win this?

someone in my clan hit 120000 drops or so last night. I've used 5 summons already everything i got was B rank skill less. It looks like the 30 bp AA are going to be much more in demand than the ranking reward AA...

I'm grinding this event, I have to rank in at least ONE event in this damn game, I tried in the repudiate lab a while back and at the final rankings I was pushed from within the rankings for galetia to 97 spots outside. It made me feel empty inside

No but seriously, I'm trying to rank in this one, so I hope to every fruit roll-up in a single mother's snack cabinet that "War Love Mary" isn't the ranking reward for the Vagrant event as well (if it comes out). That would make 1k Mary's, devaluing the shit out of her. Man, I hope they make a different ranking monster for the vagrant lands event... I've already used up so much ep, I have like 25k stalactites now...

I used my 25 gift ep's to help my clan out but I decided to sit this one out...Hoping for a sunnier day to try and rank.

Has anyone tested if the Prog+ actually rewards an extra 10 stalactites?

The progs DO work. On a sidenote, the picture shows stalagmites, not stalactites.

I've only played this event a bit, got 400 stalactites or so, but could someone tell me at what point you get rewards for them? As in how many you need before you get something? From what I read in this thread it sounds like you get a free summon every x stalactites.

Summon and other reward points are all shown in the event page under Reward List.

Does anyone have any info on the kyushi fungus (the ranking reward) i feel like usually we at least get a species, but i have no been able to find any any info! Thanks!

God this event is horrible.

I was actually thinking i would be able to get the A's and the AA in the moebius version, but in this one if i spend a bunch of energy potions i get the equivilent of a dark summons (ie 1 in one million chance to get the new A, 1 in a trillion chance to get the aa).

Once i got a decent A (blood blush), but every other time it was a B, sometimes with no skills!

Hmm About the worries of players

I did sent a mail to the dev follwoing the change in event and i got the reply just before. They assures me the progs will be the same for two events and about skill resets. They will gift one skill reset to everyone that used one to change skills to bp.

Does anyone know if they are going to have the same event monsters in VL? I was looking forward to racking up a bunch of those. As of now, I have done in total maybe 15 stalactite summons and not a single event monster.

How many drops does it take to rank top 500 in this type of event?

Anyone (not employed by A-team) actually got an AA from the summons yet?

I managed to get a green 31 bp A brute and traded it for the purple (my guild) one. Was pretty happy about that considering my band of B's that hte rest of them resulted in.

Dark stalactite.. haha. Whoever is naming these events must really be totally out of ideas. Next thing will be the shadowy municipal district event.

People just need to keep in mind that Ateam is still a company that wants to make money like any other company. The most benefit for the players that do not spend Iloveyous on this game must work harder to get their cards and do some pretty hardcore planning to even be competitive in an event, especially if it is EP based.

However if you the player do decide to spend Iloveyous, it is willingly and at your own risk. Look at the Dark Summons option as a crap-shoot opportunity to get a rare card and do not expect to get AA's, you will set yourself up for disappointment.

I do not mind spending the iloveyous because I work, and getting the chance to get a card is still fun for me. I also know that I ought not to spend a lot and instead manage my iloveyous wisely.

But I digress, this event I got the Death Tell Demon on my first Stalactite Summon, then the next two summons were crap lol. I am guessing you will have better luck with getting the other Unique Cards if you get the Stalactite Summons from Clan Rewards instead of the Individual Rewards.

I agree. I have past the 10K personal collection mark, and my clan has passed the 100K collection mark. All I have gotten was crap B+'s and OLD A's... On the other hand, my wife on her account , on her first event summons, got Aura Blade, Lance. This event SUCKS !

Has anyone tried multiple progs? I read on the bottom of the event page they mentioned multiple prog specialists.

Yes multiple progs work for this event. The wording Ateam decided to use for that was a bit confusing. I think they were referring to the fact that the progs are multiplicative in the vagrant lands event, yet in this event they are additive.

Meaning: (assuming you are using prog+ from your guild)

having one prog gives 10 more stalactites per drop

having two progs gives 20 more stalactites per drop

having three progs gives 30 more stalactites per drop

having four progs gives 40 more stalactites per drop

having five progs gives 50 more stalactites per drop

Are you sure this is correct because through purely eyeball testing it i didn't notice any difference between using a A+ as my leader and 3 A+'s and 1 A.

I know the wording of the event points to this, but I don't think it is the case.

This wasn't a real test though, just me looking at a few results from each and seeing they were the same before i switched back due to bastards attacking someone without a decent team up.
