I've heard that formations fight at similar BP...

but then I've also heard that people are putting in a fake leader, and "Maybe their other formation is different."

So, when looking at the list of people you can battle:
-Do you see as their avatar, their main formation leader or their defense formation leader?
-Are you battling people who's defense BP is similar to yours, or who's main BP is similar to yours?

Their defense could be anything from 1bp to 550bp.

1. what you see is their main form which can be completely different from their defence form, or as echoside said, "anything from 1bp to 550bp."

2. as far as i can tell, there is no bp correlation.

Then why did someone wrote that you should lower your BP in order to match with lower level people so you can win more often?

Elsewhere, someone said, "Why do some people have only one monster and some souls?," and the answer was, "Because it matches based on BP so that way they can get lower-level matches."

there is bp matching for battle for a certain event, but they havent done that type of event in a while now, in general battle, there is no bp matching.

people have one monster a souls for various reasons, for fun, for disguise, to show off souls.


really though this theory is ultra easy to test, just do some random battles in battle screen, note how many bp the opponents form has, you will see that it really has nothing to do with your form.
