Good day,


I have played dark summoner in the past,however, that was on a previous device I owned which I no longer have. Yesterday I decided to download the app on my new device acquired a few months ago. The first thing I noticed was that I didn't know my player ID thingy so I couldn't start from where I left off.Simply put,I have to start from scratch.


I can still remember some things such as some combos for teams and that energy potions are/were the most popular "currency". 


My first question is-is this still the case?
Are eps still the accepted currency or are bps worth more?
Is rancor still the least-populated(cheaper progression monsters etc.)?
Is this post outdated(http://www.ds-forum.com/t6980-formation-guide#40440)?

My second question is-I want to build a competitive team(pvp) and I remember I used to have a demon team(I used to be in sin,now I am in Rancor). Back in the day for rancor the best team was wyrms(a+).Has that changed?Should I even try to build an A+ team?Should I go straight to aa/+?


I would fully appreciate any advice anyone has about anything. If you feel this is too many questions I wouldn't mind little things/snippets/pointers etc. to help me.

Should I go straight to aa/+?  Not that either.  The AA game is pretty much dead too.  Sticl with AAAs or EXs

Why the EXs is such more expensive over the AA+?

EXs is a new rank of monster, such as A, AA and AAA. But I've been off too. I don't know why they are so expensive.

They're more expensive because they're a lot better than AAs. The atk and def are similar or better to AAAs, at half the bp.

@hydek, if you can afford AAA+, do that. Otherwise, go for whichever cov EX team you can get at the cheapest price. You're not likely to face a species down specific to any of them (no brutes or demons) so it really doesn't matter which you go for.

Um.  AA is fine.  Much easier to find evolutions for, for one thing, but many of the AAA are similar to the AA stats.  As are MOSTLY useless over a certian level - about 90 probably - they all have less then 10,000 ATK.  However, there are a few which can still be useful.  For example, if you're trying to make your team all the same species, or a winged team, etc., you may use an A which will be stringer then some of your AAs especially if they're unevolved.  For example, Cannon Hair Witch is around 14,000 ATK and there are several that are higher then her.  Most people are using AAs and maybe one AAA.  They are after all not easy to get anyway, even though the stats are not THAT different.  In addition many AAAs do not have skills.  I am level 101 and I have two AAAs.
