Dragon Wall-style event. 7/9-7/17. In collaboration with Nintendo 3DS's SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI IV. Go through streets of Tokyo & more. HUGE TWIST/CHANGE: Everyone will get a free prog each day as login bonuses!

Thoughts?

Ok is seen the AA's and none impressed me enough to do this event. And progs dont do anything to help rank just to help beat bosses ( If I read it correctly ). Also the AA's that I have seen none look like a ranking AA and there is no AAA's. So is ranking reward going to be GES, AA revive summon, or skills?

First, I wish they bring back the real dragon style where you would need all 3 Guild formations in order to be successful.  

It is too early for me to tell how this event is but bp price has not been recovered well for me to play in this event.

Haha the only person excited about about this half hearted gift is the ateam shill that's posts here. 

The game is ruined. Look st the new game ratings. Look how many sold off. I've got 1500ep looking for a home now, as many others do.

Why play a game that frustrates you? A game is supposed to be enjoyed. You might as well quit. I actually enjoy DS and Rebirth. I don't plan on quitting any time soon. You should quit if you don't enjoy the game, plain & simple.

Well said and there are other games that have unlimited trading/gifting, events to play, leveling, battling and collecting cards/monsters that they can also play along with DS or leave DS for.

You should also understand people/hardcore gamers take basically "any game" very very seriously and of course they need to vent their emotions because of changes to their "routine/s". If they say that they don't take the game seriously and yet act like a raging teenager (especially when they are much older lol  ) then that is just SAD bahaha

Still this event is going to be very hard for those that don't have a lot of battle points and battle potions

 I agree to a certain extent that players that are frustrated with the game should quit and move on, but at what point do we acknowledge that it is not just a few but a majority of players that are experiencing discontent?  With a majority not enjoying the game, solutions like "just quit" do not suffice and feel like lazy problem solving.  We can't have a majority of players quit and expect to be able to continue to play this game as we did before. 

My hope is that players can come together and create change in A team's policy through actions like 1 star ratings and boycotts (for example, Xbox's 180 in policy because of pressure from players).  Because if I really felt that we couldn't make a change, that's when I'd quit.  Just going along with the poor decision making it isn't doing anything any better than the whiners on the boards. 

As a side note, if you know of other games that are similar to DS with all the qualities you listed, please share them.  Because most of Mobage stuff is boring shovelware, Reign of dragons isn't fun, Rebirth is just a lousy regurgitation of old A team designs (you really get excited using b+ cards again?) and it's filled with technical issues even though it's a copy of other game designs.  Oh and DOT wasn't great either.

LORD OF THE DRAGONS...... NOT A DIME SPENT. NO NEED TO! VERY SIMILAR TO DS YET MUCH BETTER, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE TOO.

Well just judging by the dropoff in top grossing games on play store is an indication that they are losing players. DS used to be top 5 anytime I looked since I have been playing. They have dropped to 9th now. Granted a lot of games would kill to be the 9th top grossing game, but it remains to be seen whether DS will continue to slide off that list. Really that is the only thing Ateam understands. Profit.

conditional to your comment app "gross" rank is exponential correlated with revenue/sales/gross, not linear to the numbers of people leaving. Those leaving are ones that don't want to pay, don't want to start paying or not satisfied with the current restrictions. We can all see that Ateam decision of making "progs" not trad-able is crippling them financially (not as many people spending $$ to get progs and sell for EPs/BPs since we can't...) and has actually said on Facebook they will take comments about progs not trad-able into advisement. Hence their low ranking. If you're looking at different rankings of DS there are lots of bootstrapping/factors to consider.

I wasn't aware of this event. It does sound sort of interesting because I am into Atlus games. Maybe I will give it a try. I have a decent amount of my bp potions to use.

 Because it won't help you rank, it'll just help you against the super bosses. You still have to spend hundreds of BP to rank :/

It's A team's current way of making people think they're getting something valueable when they really aren't. Similar things have been going on for the past few months.

They're not just making progs untradeable, they're making them irrelevant.

 As of now, there is no reward link.  I was looking for reward link too.

Now that there IS a reward link, I feel foolish for anticipating it... I've never seen an event with a bigger pile of garbage. And I hope that only the top 100 ranks getting anything useful isn't going to be the new trend...

 That's their way of making the prices rise again, and besides you don't think the kotone/nyar/adan/dru you'll get from an AA summon will be worth more than 2 ep?
