Tower Event - Faustian Trials!

The next event has been annouced.  It picks up immediately at the end of the current event.  It appears that it will be a tower event with a Summoner of Fortitude and mass zones.  It appears that the chest have gone and they have been replaced with something called trials and a reward center were you trade trial tickets for prizes. 

The ranking prize for sin appears to be another crawler.  Not too excited myself but I can't speak about others.

Yes i saw the banner today, from 2 am ET when it was placed, it's a kind of mix of a tower event and the current one, we do tower floor missions and we exchange trial tickets for prizes, it seems to be more balanced, but A-team never stop surprising us and i hope they havent ruined this tipe of event more than it was...
We'll have to wait and see.

Now that faustian trials has started, it's more a cross between tower and snake king medals than tower and treasure event. You use the tickets to roll for a reward from a pool rather than spending it on anyone specific reward. The more you claim, the better your chance of getting one of the more coveted(relatively) rewards. Overall, I'd say that I like this combination.

I'm not a fan of the road of trials, you should be able to skip it.  As it is I have to make a low bp team of C monsters just to progress as I don't have enough bp or potions to do 3 battles.

Yeah, i'm also stuck there, i have no BPs and i also dont wanna invest into them, and also don't want to buy BP on more than 1:1 and in the end i dont want to go far in this event...
As i have told "A-team never stop surprising us and i hope they wont ruin this event more than it was" and guess what, i was right, they have ruined this one aswell...blame and damn stupid people, the whole team is a bunch of lifeless people that know anything of real world and business...

I like knowing the odds of getting crap, but i don't like that the odds of getting crap are so much higher than previous towers. Also dont like this trend of making us spend bp in events that used to be pure ep. Also dont like that there's no A prog option this time.

In general, this is now two events in a row where ATeam has taken a format most people were happy with, and crapped it up pretty good.

Since there is no break between the events, my energy isn't fully charged.  And I don't feel like using potion just yet, so I have not played the event much yet.   But base on what I heard there is a good chance that I would like this event because I usually like mix bp/ep event.  I also think the change was made to slow the Bot down. I don't this is enough to stop the Bot.

How would this slow down a bot? Just need to add code to spend bp

If anything the last event was a bot deterrent as the areas you had to tap kept changing.

Never programmed a bot, but i'm assuming the dara feed they intercept from the game's server would have to include the location of where to display the tap bubbles.
I dont think they cant really stop bots via gameplay... all they can do is recognize theyre being used and ban the offending accounts

Definitely saving my vouchers for after the first swap. Hopefully they'll still be valid.

The further I get in this event the shittier it becomes.  All trials are now against 200bp+ teams which I cannot win and after floor 200 it uses 16 energy and only progresses 2% per tap.

In other worda, last time with a 6x prog it was 99 energy to clear a floor, or 81 in bonus tine. Now, it's 208 to clear a floor, with shittier prizes along the way. To that, i say ATeam can take that winged mystic and shove it up their ass. I'm not supporting this shit.

I dunno if it lowers or not, I quit going. I went to floor 205 and the boss gave the standard 10 xp, I retched a little and quit.

Why the hell would the boss at floor 205 give anything other than the standard 10 xp? When has a boss after floor 200 ever given more than 10 xp in a tower event? If I quit the event at any point, it won't be over the underlying boss format being exactly the same as every other tower event.

No need to be a dick, when's the last time after floor 200 did it take 16 energy to move 2%?
Not to mention all the lost xp and gold from every other boss being replaced with the trials.

Not trying to be a dick, just being frank. And that 16 energy to go 2% also comes with 17 exp. Compare to the usual 11/12. Over the same floor progress, it nets you more exp, although I'll grant you that it does make ranking more expensive. I still fail to see a reason why bosses after 200 should give more than the standard 10 exp. Do remember that ATeam uses a template for tower events and they only make small changes and the majority of those are intended to get people to buy more energy potions. The template gives them a great deal of control for floors 1-200, but only limited control from floor 201 on, probably to save time spent writing more if-else statements, particularly considering that each tower doesn't have a maximum number of floors. Bottom line, regardless of what other changes they make in any particular tower, don't ever expect code that is essentially an afterthought to ever change. Progress/tap and energy cost/tap may occasionally change; boss exp/gold won't. Ever. Change. It's just how it works.

Armitaage, i have to disagree with you on overall on this event, its the biggest shit i ever saw from all tower events, they shitted this event from the moment they changed the 100 hunter points epic item on this event type, so here i totally agree and think the same as ryesteve.
I don't have and dont want to spend BP on this event and also from what i am reading i see the energy consumption doubeled or even more, not to mention i was stuck at floor 110 trial and batteled a boss with a fully EX team that wiped all my form before had the chance to strike, i was planning to push on this event before it started and saw the shit A-team did, now i am gonna quit and sit back watch, lucky me that i havent buyed a prog, so as ryesteve i say "A-team should get all the shit rewards, the progs and the AAA crawler and dump it in their ass".

I dunno why, but the behavior of those idiots from A-team is like they want us to quit this game, should we do as they want? Anyway i stopped buy SP long time ago, from the moment they removed auctions, the first shit from all that came after...

Well, whether it's 81 energy per level or 208 energy per lvl after Floor 200. The question is, "Does it really matters?". When you going from F200-F500, I Believe your objective isn't to spend over 20k energy to get one reward because it's not going to be Worth the investment. People who continue to proceed after F200 are usually going for rankings and with the increased energy requirements, everybody will reach less floors and that's fair.

Of course, one can argue that you get less XP in the long run, because during bonus time, 8ep for 11xp is 37.5% more exp than normal. (To Armitaage, it's not more XP. Do your maths right, it's the XP/Energy that is important and not XP/Floor because it's energy you're spending.)

Reward wise, less floors = less boss = less tickets (Anyway, from the looks of it, it seems silly to waste BP to battle for the tickets) = Less rewards.

Btw, I'm standing on the side of ryesteve and echoside that the event is really getting crappier and crappier. However, I'm still holding on to my Believe that we make our choices, we can choose to do whatever we want, if you hate the event, just don't participate or if you hate the game, quit it.

I'm only upset because I'm trying to gain levels and monsters for sacrificing, they jipped me out of the easy boss xp from floor 100 to 200.  I had no intentions of ranking but I was rank 50 something this morning at floor 217ish so it doesn't seem to be a popular event so far.  I dunno how far I'll fall in rank(likely a hell of a lot) but I doubt I'll go much further than floor 250 or so.

I used 136 ticket and now only 1 reward left...and it's a random spirit.
