Cypher monsters

What are their immunities? What skills do affect them? Skills like psycho down won't affect them right? But what about beast down if the Cypher is a beast? Will he be affected or not?
I read from the game "Cypher monsters may be used with other monster types to gain combos. However, Monster type Down skills for different Monster types will be ineffective against Cypher monsters".

I agree their wording is poor, but given that they are using "type" as synonymous to "guild" (eg "4th monster type added!!") I would take this to mean that they are immune to guild down skills, but species down would still work against them.

yeah, in ds Type is "guild", species is "type". if it says type, it's talking about guild. if it says species, it's talking about type.
