Mutation Question(s)
Since everyone seems to want to know what mutations are and how they occur I've posted this. Unfortunately I don't know much about mutations except that they are extremely rare; so who wants to enlighten me and all those others out there?
Start the enlightening!
Current Known Facts
-Mutations occur only when you sacrifice a single monster, they don't occur when you sacrifice in bulk
-Mutating monsters can become B, B+, C or C+(not sure about A or A+...)
adding more when I get more knowledge!

What can you tell us about the c's and the B+ you received? What cards were they? What did they become?

Re: Mutation Question(s)
Add more info. Has anyone had a monster mutate? Post here if you have and describe how it happened and what happened.

Re: Mutation Question(s)
Does the monster that's being sacrificed have anything to do with it's attribute or type? For example, a brute sacrificed to a stronger brute might yield better results for mutation? Or is it a fluke?

Re: Mutation Question(s)
I have had two mutations.
Verdigris Fairy C Lvl 1 + Verdigris Fairy C Lvl 1 mutated to a Ice Giant B+
Red Night Kobold C lvl 1 + Red Knight Kobold C lvl 1 mutated to a Vanessa of the Night B+
I purposely tried to make this happen. I went to the very first mission and did it around 200 times getting whatever amount of the same monsters (ie night kobold and fairy). after sacrificing one to one of the same monster oh about 30 times it finally mutated. I am now trying to figure out if specific monsters give specific mutations, will update with what i find.
**Edit -- So it seems the mutation is completely random. I again set out and aquired a bunch of the same monster (verdgris fairy) this time it mutated to a silver golem and another time it mutated to a zombie C. So i guess it wont always mutate to a "b or b+"

Re: Mutation Question(s)
Hmm...I think i'll make a thread about this soon from experiments. Personally, I think it's about 3% everytime you try to mutate with the same monster. But it's not said in stone obviously.

Re: Mutation Question(s)
Holy crap....with those odds the chance of mutation is 1.6% That is freakin low.....

Re: Mutation Question(s)
I think the developers tried to make it so it's not easy but 1.6% is just way 2 low

Re: Mutation Question(s)
Or it could be that the higher the grade of the monster you're trying to mutate....the lower the percentage is for it to succeed....I shudder to think of even attempting a B let alone a B+

Good point. I hope they come out with a better explanation of how it works. Or at least give some kind of odds.
I find its 100 times easier to just do the raids for B and B+ monsters

True Dat, especially with the way the system is currently

Re: Mutation Question(s)
The question is, will there be similar chance to mutate B+ into A ranks. If so I reckon the risk and time may be worth it. That is if you already have your formation fixed and don't need the gold and have time for it to spare.

That would be great, but I wonder if you can even evolve things up to A monsters...

Mutations cont'd
Me and my friend have been experimenting with mutations since we started playing, we've only gotten 5 and we are both around level 40 now. From the mutations we got it was always completely random including type, value, etc. In fact, 2 C's managed to form a B+, where two B's created a C+...
For right now I think it's just too early but I suspect they will release some additional info eventually.

Re: Mutation Question(s)
So let me get this straight...
With the mutation occuring, you can "potentially" get 2 B ranked monsters into an A rank.
But..
If you get a B ranked monster and sacrifice a C rank, you can still get an A rank? or would it be a B+?
Same goes for sacrificing a C/C+ for a B+ monster making it an A rank?
Or is it true that it's only B/B+ and A/A+ from sacrificing?
